How to play game without official patch?

Does anyone know how I can play the game without the official patch? It's such a pain to play with the official patch installed. I bought my game and it won't play unless I install the patch. Any help would be great.

by using a "special" exe that bypasses steam

IMO, you should update with the patch, just start it before you go to bed and leave your computer on for it to download and install it

I have updated with the patch, and I want to get rid of it. Is there anyway I can do that? I am willing to reinstall the game. Where can I get that "special" exe Jao?

not without reinstalling and asking/providing the special exe here is against the rules and worthy of a ban FYI
