But the Rockets still have a strong chance at making the second round. Even with Landry out the Rockets will do OK. True, they will really miss Landry on the bench but him being out wont hurt the Rockets badly. Besides, Landry is only expected to miss 1-3 weeks, meaning he will be back in time before the playoffs. Better yet, in the source from NBA.com it was said that his wound was "no worse than a strained calf". So yes, we will have Landry in the playoffs.

if we follow your advice then people will start to solve problems using unnecessary violence. It's not essential for every nba players to carry a gun with them but to be alert and aware all the time, especially as late as Landry was out. The States is full of lunatics with guns so it's a good idea to be on alarm.

Yes, Modify. I meant that they have less chance without Landry, but they still are a strong team, no doubt about that. Landry's really shown up in some games for the Rockets this year. At times, I think the Rockets will miss him. Hopely he will be fully ready by the playoffs.

Many NBA players are thugs already as is. No need for them to carry guns, or we will see many of them attending court and stuff.

WOW! How did they win tonight. I turned the channel to WBC cuz was frustrating to watch Rockets lose in OT 1 minute remaining behind 7 points. Obviously I missed some good stuff.

Hold it right there. I dont remember seeing the Rockets down 7 points in OT at all. And to make sure, I went to check the play-by-play. The Rockets never trailed more than 4 points in both overtime period. It was the Pistons who trailed by as much as 10 in the second OT.

Yao really did have a good night against Kwame. He just couldn't defend Yao efficiently, committing stupid fouls and allowing Yao needed space to whatever he did. Detroit definitely had chance in regulation, Stuckey almost hitting game winning shot which came in and out. When Iverson comes back, I think he will mess up the chemistry. I don't think him coming off from the bench will help either since he's likely to get starter minutes from the bench.

I was bringing it up because it was another instance of RealGM rewriting a story in such a way that it provided less, misleading or inaccurate information. (In this case, the AP story had far more complete details on what happened and how Landry was doing.) It's a really bad site to source because of this, and it's a really bad practice of the site itself. It was just a tangent on a mildly related topic.

I could've just provided the link, but it's not a benjipost if I'm not whining about something unimportant.
