v4.0 will come out when Chinoy will have some free time to fix it ( probably within this friday-saturday).

Hi,
I'm excited to start downloading patches, I love real simulation... especially, since no online play for PC.
Used to use this site for NBA LIVE series, but Got the NBA2K9. Enough about me, how's everybody doing?

And... If somebody could be kind enough to teach me how to use these .rar files?
Where do I extract them?

Is it C -> Program Files -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> nba 2k9
Or is there a folder I have to make?

Thanks in advance, will be checkin' back later

Hey thanks for the roster. I love the gameplay however i just started an association and there are way too many trades and some doesnt make any sense.

I'm pretty sure I sent juza a modified Krstic iff when I first gave him my updated roster.

its still shoe pack 3. Wait for 4 to be released. And the shoe pack 4 shouldn't have anything to do with the rosters so you could start a new game

I got a question...can players tendencies change over time? Or does it stay the same forever.

hi D12,

tendencies are definitely fixed so don't worry, they stay the same .

to what concerns the illogical trade during an association, that's the weird stuff. we can't do nothing..it's a bug inside the engine..hope 2k will fix it with a patch or at least with the new retail version of 2k10.

Re: juza's nba 2k9 "neon' project" final version 3.0.5

I didn't mean if there was a problem with tendencies. I meant do tendencies change over time like stats. Like if a player gets alot better at dunking does his tendency for dunking increase? So basically I was just wondering if tendencies change over the years as a player stat changes.

tendencies don't change over..they are as they have to according to the player real skill.

d12Orlando wrote:I just have anisotropic filtering on x16. For the texture filtering I turn them off for image quality. I forgot to mention that I turned down ultra high for player models to high. I can run it smoothly but I sacrifice image quality. Its not worth it for moving jerseys even though I like it alot. The trick is to turn on everything to best quality. Like for texture filtering read the notes at the bottom and set it to what gives best image quality. Anisotropic filtering should be left at x16 or x8 though. Anti-aliasing should be set to application controlled since 2k9 has a msaa setting for it.

Anyways you should run an exhibition game and see if it lags. If it does then you go back to the control panel and try turning on (off is for better quality and on is for better performance) one of the texture filtering then try it again. If it still lags close the game and try another one. The point is to turn off the quality settings one by one until you can run the game smoothly and that is when you know you have the best compromise for image quality vs smooth gameplay.

Also there really isn't a point to having crowd on high. Medium is really enough because high just turns those high up in the stands that you only see in cut scenes or halftime. Having high crowd and rendering ALL those people in the high stands in 3d taxes alot on your system. There isn't any point in my opinion to turn msaa on too high either as this isn't a shooter where you have crates and boxes and fences everywhere. The jaggies aren't too bad in this game. So msaa isn't a priority at all. I mean if you have it off the back board isn't straight and thats the most noticeable thing. However I play on a 32inch Sony lcd tv so the jaggies may be worse on a smaller screen. Maybe x2 or x4 would do

If you really want to get down and dirty with the nvidia control panel then http://www.tweakguides.com has an excellent and frequently updated guide for the forceware nvidia control panel

Thx bro!!! thnx!

if i got it right, we need to have real shoe patch 3.0 along with 4.0 to play without pink shoes? why 4.0 alone isn't enough? if that's the case, can you please include them both in your patch download link, so we don't need to have hard times finding them on that chinese site where i cannot find download links...

roster has not been matched yet with shoe pack 4.0 cause it takes time due to the " hidden shoes issue".....it will be done for next week end. Shoe pack v3.0 is in one of the link mentioned on 1st page.

If people would just take the time to actually read the posts...
