Ditto. Obvious the standard of video games is quite different from back then, and with games evolutionizing to 3D stuff, I am expecting somewhat of a big transformation with Diablo 3 as well. No doubt it's a tough job to please fans to the max, when the game has to be transformed to meet today's standard. Not only for Diablo but StarCraft as well.

The one thing I don't like for now is the health and mana pick-ups. They should've retained the health and mana potions.

i agree 1000 times over. this is by far the worst move they have made yet, few other minor complaints, like floating numbers, but those are not nearly as bad. they do have some really good changes too imo

I wish I could still bring back the potions. The hack-and-slash trauma is in it.

The Shaman disturbs me more now, reminds me of the Fetish Shaman from D2 that revives the little critters.

ahhh, yes. but still, shamans are not as irritating as the teleporting and fire-throwing bastards in act V. i really hope blizzard doesn't include creatures similar to those things.

edit: guys, what do you think would the required specs for this be?

i think the most annoying creatures from D2 were the sand leapers, hated chasing them down, not so bad for my amazon or sorc though.

system specs wont be that high at all, if you can play any of the top fps games right now you will be able to run D3 without issue whenever it launches. they always set the bar pretty low so as many people as possible can play

Model graphics remind me of WoW.

alot of this game seems heavily inspired by wow, but can you blame them? wow is only the biggest game ever

So far it's the Barbarian, Witch Doctor, Wizard, and the Monk. I believe there's still one more class to be revealed. (hoping for a pally)

Don't count on a pally. I think the monk now fills that role or warrior-holy man like the pally was.
IIRC, the first Diablo expansion had the monk character.
