NEW USER, NEEDS HELP...

Postby ntrisKKT1 on Mon Mar 02, 2009 1:13 pm

I just recently purchased my copy of NBA 2K9 for PC, and I need help on a few things. I'll appreciate if all/any of these questions can get answered,
Here are my list of questions:
1.)Any tutorial on installing roster updates, player model updates, player shoes, stadium updates, as well as player tattoos?
2.)What in your opinion are the must-have downloads(models, programs, updates)?
3.)What in your opinion is the most accurate roster update?
4.)Who in your opinion is the best producer for player model updates?PM ME PLEASE, I DON"T WANT ANY CONFLICTS, IF ANY, TO GET STARTED
5.)Tutorials on improving my gameplay in NBA 2K9?
6.)Any must-have player model updates?
7.)Favorite player, as well as your favorite team in the NBA?

I'll appreciate if the majority of these questions can get answered, though I prefer having them all answered.

1.) Rosters for XP go into C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K9\Saves (need to enable hidden folders) Vista: can't remember right off hand, but you can search for the 2ksports folder. To install patches overwrite the files in your main NBA 2k folder (XP is C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\nba 2k9)

BACKUP YOUR FILES JUST IN CASE!!!

2.) There is a bunch of good patches out there but here are some of my favs

Of course there is a ton more, but you can pick and choose what you like and dislike.

3.) Can't tell you that one as I have been using my own personal one for a while now.

4.) They are all pretty good. It's just a matter of personal opinion.

5.) Check out the 2k general section or the NBA2k section at Operation Sports.

6.) One must have is the 360 button layout or PS controller layout mods.It all depends on which controller you use. Check the patches section or http://nba-2k.com/

7.) Joe Dumars, Detroit Pistons.

Hope this gets you started. Enjoy the game.
