thanks thelegend23, a little more patience though... headshape editing for 2k9 is much more time consuming than nba live... :wink:

urh28, EGS member right? i see some nlsc members having a hard time getting through to your patches, going through some sites that use a language that they are not familiar with... so i am doing them a little favor, i will agree for you to use my mj headshape (once i release it) if you will agree to post your current and future patches here in nlsc by yourself, in english, and with direct download links attached... deal? :wink:

haha thanks A.I.R., that's what i'm also aiming for... if the roster editor guys can't produce a fully functional roster editor at this time, i may resort to overwriting an existing nba player for my mj when i'm through with it...

looking awsome glen i did get ken's team jordan into the normal 1.3 roster file using hex workshop. took alot of poking around trying stuff and alot of cursing.

but a quick how to, would be to get a clean 1.3 roster minus his tmm team. make a copy change values on one copy jordan with hades editor and do a compare files between the 2 1.3 rosters. and find the block your jordan is will look somethign like ccccZZccc__Uccp etc _7 in a solid 3 line block or so.

do the same for a clean roster file with his tmm team loaded and change the values on one of the jordans and compare, you also might be able to directly copy the jordan section from the 96bulls.tmm file he is the 2nd player block in the file, but i used the roster file in case there are any retained or changed values when you add it. if you look above the ccccZZcc grouping there is an X, copy from the X to the end of the cccccZZcc block of codes copy that into the identical area for your 1.3 roster. nothing should shift it should fit in the same blocks identically.

save as the modified 1.3 roster as something else in case you mess up. now the last bit open the modified roster with hades editor find michael jordan and change the face id to 177 and you will have the modified head ebo when you load the game, the head ebo seems linked to the face id but the other limb ids i believe are hidden in the player coding plus tendencies salary stats.

i never just tried changing the face id off the bat lol never crossed my mind till i was getting like all the parts but the head kept getting sam cassel's head on jordan's body then i noticed the face id in hades was different for the jordans and changed it to 177 and poof a fully editable player with custom ebo file and skins all looking proper.

cant wait for the release glen looks awsome sofar.

thanks Lean... i personally could wait for a roster editor but some of the guys have waited long enough, so i improvised for the time being (more info on it below)...

thanks makinglove, your mj looks good.. not sure though what you meant about "don't release without agree to kens-fly" though... maybe you and ken-fly could sort it out in PM, since i don't think i'm involved in it in any way, shape or form... :wink:

okay, i did an MJ "newb friendly" version 1st... it means no texmods, hex, specific rosters, or complicated stuff for the guys that just want to put MJ in their game, it will just be an .iff file to be placed on your nba 2k9 folder... the method used would be overwriting an existing player, so there would be a couple of CONS that comes along with it...

CONS:

- it will overwrite the player named deandre jordan of the clippers in your game, so if you are a huge deandre jordan fan for some reason then you are royally screwed
- i had to lighten my MJ's skintone to match deandre's leg texture
- deandre's bodytype is a tad thinner than that of MJ's
- no custom MJ compression shorts or calf brace
- announcers will of course still call him deandre jordan

head shape looks amazing glen. ears look a smidge too "tall" lengthwise to me. best i can make out from pics in my books is ears go from about the bottom of the nose to top of the eye ridge. looks like the lobes on yours go past the nose a bit. dunno i am nitpicking lol looks amazing either way.

skin color is hard to peg on jordan depending on lighting he can look a chocolately brown to a few shades darker. used to looking at kens which is pretty dark but looking thru books i would say darken it a bit on the body and the calf sleeve isn't proper ;).

but amazing work on the head shape that is about bloody prefect.

damn if you have a non noob version if you could merge kens body work, calf brace, compression shorts, veins on limbs, with your head shape that would be the ultimate jordan.

Nice job working out the alternative to having Jordan in the game as well. As of now, I dont think anyone is a big fan of Deandre Jordan yet so it's a good method for the time being. :D
