New roster announcement sometime today, then Friday, and the last one in a week.

Fingers Crossed for Old School Undertaker and Kane. I would love to import the new Kane from 09 and kick the shit out of him with the old school one.

I'm loving the various forms of old school presentation with the name overlays on the intros, a very nice touch there.

Me too, the feel is catchy.

But funny how Andre is being lifted just like a pillow  on the first two videos shown.

it's weird like in No Mercy how you couldn't lift the fatties, then like one certain surplex could lift everybody

And it didn't apply to finishers, so you'd fail to lift Rikishi for a scoop slam using a cruiserweight then end up stealing his Rikishi driver for the win.

Many of the fans don't agree putting in Hunter Hearst Helmsley in it. But seeing it well, brought me the chills.

well Monday is supposed to be the big names,

again, my hopes are for old Kane, old taker, and senor Foley, but I completely agree with you that Savage needs to be in there.

The only undefeated wrestler in Wrestlemania history not making the cut? I'd make a videogame myself to make up for that blasphemy.

there ya go

but man, I just watched that CAW video on IGN...I'm impressed, the CAW looks pretty damn good compared to the legends themselves. I hated how in smackdown the CAWs just looked like a different style compared to the WWE guys.

I think I could cope if Mankind, Savage, Taker and Kane don't get in and just use that. Im sure there will be websites with CAWs for this game.

So now I need to decide if I should get this for PS3 or 360. Also planning on picking up SvR09 for the import as well. Or if I could just rent it and import, then that would work.

Don't let it fool you Jao, the CAW mode is the exact same from SDvR09. Only some clothing/accesories parts are different.

Agreed, but like I said before it depends who they can come to an agreement on and with McMahon having some sort of Heat with Savage it doesn't look promising. Then again, they're supposedly going to release a Savage DVD later this year. If it will make money, McMahon will probably put aside any issues for the sake of business. Of course, it remains to be seen what kind of production the DVD will be. The Ultimate Warrior DVD was pretty negative.

I think it's pretty good, in my opinon it's the most detailed CAP system you'll find in sports games. Depending on which console you're on, you CAW can either have 64 (360) or 32 (PS3) layers. The PS3 players have been moaning about their disadvantage in recent games, so maybe they make 64 layers for the PS3 available with LOW.
I recommend you http://www.caws.ws and http://caws.ws/forum for some really good creations.

For example somebody did a Kurt Angle CAW. (SvR09)
http://i40.tinypic.com/2md4hax.png

I'm pretty sure there will be many CAWs for LOW once it's out.

so I take it they have yet to incorporate a EA Locker/2k Share feature that would let you share CAWs

rest of the wrestlers to be announced tomorrow have evidently been leaked

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=352266

- Michael Hayes
- Mr. Fuji
- Mr. Perfect
- Nikolai Volkoff
- Paul Bearer
- "Ravishing" Rick Rude
- Ric Flair
- Ultimate Warrior
- Undertaker
- Yokozuna

The following characters were confirmed last Friday:

- Hulk Hogan
- Andre the Giant

All in all, a pretty respectable roster though Savage's absence is an obvious downer (behind the scenes issues not withstanding). A lot of hate for Vince in that thread which I don't think is fair, since none of us know what Savage actually did to garner that kind of heat with McMahon and with Mick Foley being a prominent member of TNA at the moment it's more than understandable they wouldn't be working with him in this project.

i still say macho needs to be in this game, if it is personal why he was left out then thats a huge disappointment to me, if it was over money then i understand. you cant erase macho from the minds of WWF fans, if you grew up watching it during those days he will remain on anyones list as one of the best. upsets me even more when i see someone like kamala in the game while they leave out demolition? what the hell

again, CAW

but who knows, who owns the rights to "Macho Man" The WWE or Randall (haa, wiki)

if he does, me may have blocked it, or, when that DVD comes out in June, they might use him to sell DLC for this game.
