Scouting?

Finally I've found enough spare time to start my Dynasty; up to now I've just been able to give a quick try at the new Live 09 features and I need some infos about scouting. Is there any way to check the depth of the draft? What about sending scouts? I'm sorry if the questions are a bit silly, but basically I've been playing Live 06 on my PC untill last december and, as far as I can see, a lot of things are changed.

It should tell you sometime in the season if the scouts think this will be a strng , weak or whatever draft it gives you a mock draft

Still possible. You can also work them out in a 5-on-5 scrimmage in the Academy leading up to the Draft in the offseason.

I dont know how i mean once yo press Y it has a little check mark saying to scout the player btu I dont know how toactually play with them> Please explain

You don't get to scrimmage until the offseason, you can't do it while you're scouting during the season.

Wait how do I go about scouting players during the season? I've never kept a rookie I've drafted buh I currently hold 7 2nd rd picks so if I can't trade them ill have to draft and maybe I can get a steal

There should be a scouting phase in the offseason where you can select ten rookies to scrimmage with.
