Turbo doesn't always work

Ok guys, I finally figured out the problem!! It's the Logitech Dual Action controller (I exchanged it for a Thrustmaster Dual Analog controller). The Dual Action, for some reason doesn't use the turbo at all times and that might be a driver problem. But I think the real problem is that you don't get the full range of motion with the analog stick. When the stick gets "jittery," the range of motion doesn't go all the way to the edge of the box when you calibrate it, hence you don't actually start running even when you're not using turbo. I exchanged my controller for the Thrustmaster Dual Analog, and I like it very much. I wish it had a "pause" button, but other than that, it's very comfortable and the analog sticks are great. I miss the Dual Action though, it was a great controller, perfect in every way until the analog stick started having problems.

Yes guys, I've come to that same deduction. The pad is horrid as far as calibration is concerned!! It's to the point where I have to calibrate the pad in the middle of every dame game!!! The unfortuante thing is that I have somehow misplaced my receipt after only 2 weeks of owning the pad

I should have picked up the airflo pad when I had the chance. This pad has the fan unit for cooling your palms right? It really felt comfortable, but the name is not well known and that kept me from purchasing it. Anyhow, I guess I'll have to look into thrustmaster or the airflo, or a usb adapter for the xbox controller.

I also liked the logitech pad, but it's not worth the trouble if you have to re-calibrate 1000 times.

From what I gather though, Calvenn, the AirFlo PC or the Thrustmaster Dual Action are both good pads.

I prefer the AirFlo b/c it looks as though the dual analog sticks are solid and the D-Pad is reminiscent of an SNES controller.

The latter's a controller that's been out some time from what I gather.

And note in the review for the Logitech that he didn't mention the specific problems we've been referring to with regards to the analog sticks.

Keep in mind that the reviews are pretty biased... and this guy must REALLY need comfort when playing games. And he doesn't use NBA Live as a proto-game.

Anyway, those are my suggestions.

Just doing this forum a favour for people who decide to get the Logitech.

I was thinking about the NYKO AirFlo PC controller.

I may have just gotten a bad unit, but I bought an AirFlo from BestBuy 2 weeks ago and NBA Live 2004 wouldn't recognize it at all.

Did you play a game with it yet?

Because I know that you cannot use the controller select if you want to be the Home or Away team; gotta use your mouse and drag the orange-outlined controller yourself.

And like I PM'd Calvenn, you gotta re-config the controller.

Easiest way is to look for the Logitech Dual Action config and save it under AirFlo. I think you have to modify any config in order to save under a new one.

Try that. If it still doesn't work I'm not sure what to do.

I'm planning on getting the USB converter for the PS controllers. Hahah... I'm obsessed now.
