Dunk and Layup percentage

Postby AznBBoyX on Tue Dec 02, 2003 10:21 am

Can anyone tell me what dunk percentage and layup percentage do? Since there is a layup/dunk frequency I am guessing that the dunk percentage is the percentage that a player will make the dunk. But that seems stupid since if you set it 50%, does that mean the player will miss 50% of all dunk attempts? Some one please clear this up for me. Thanks in advance.

i thought it was dunk vs layup frequency so the lower you put it the less dunks will be attempted cause there are 2 different buttons for dunks/layups and shooting

its the percentage that will go in but i think thats bassically for hen you are closely guarded b/c i have it at that and the players don't miss that many just the usual antonio davis missed dunk

Even at 50, nearly all of your dunks will be good when you have room to throw it down. I very rarely miss dunks and layups with my sliders at 50 (dunks) and 45 (layups).

So the dunk percentage only affects the possiblity of success while dunking on people?
