injuries in live 2004

guys... anyone of you thats got the game already have experienced any injuries to any players? also is there a slidder for injuries in the game?

I had Bosh and Davis injured at different times during my first game, but they were both able to return later. I kept driving to the basket and using the pro hop button and they both came up limping.

i had mcgrady get injured for a quarter and injured his knee

I went up for a dunk with Kobe and he came down holding his penis. Hes out for 3 to 4 weeks with a penis muscle pull. I'm thinking its the after effects of his rape ordeal!

Morris Peterson, the idiot, got hit by MAC, and he had to leave the game, but they subbed for him (he was hit in the act of shooting) and a player took his spot, shot his free throws as well. Then later in the game, he came back, and got hurt again - exact same injury (Broken Hand) and had to leave the game for good.

Exact same injury? Did he break his hand, it healed and then he broke it again all in the course of one game?

Exactly. He hurt the hand, then they said he will be out for a quarter, and returned, then hurt the damn thing again, and then they said he is out for the game.

Did it say the first time that he had a broken hand or just an injured hand? Jur curious because that would be one magic healing bone.

im playin franchise w/the bulls..so i traded for carmello..but yeah he hurt his hand...and it saidhe would b back soon..but i looked on the fatigue bar..and it was empty but i play wit it off..so i dunno how it affected him..and marv said that thing bout re injurin his arm and how brave he is..tryin 2 play through the injury...but i did look at the injury report..and i did see...none other then grant hill being out for 6 days...so i guess that means they can get injured for a longer period of time..

It seems like there might be too many injuries.

thats what sliders are for sixerfan, they have an injury slider i believe.

First game of Dynasty, the Spurs had Ginobli get injured. Three games later, I had Andre Miller get injured and he's out for 2 weeks.

great!! so more of those injuries, so we guys have to be cautious of pushing starplayers like t-mac and kobe, that's more like it! at least guys let's be a liitle careful with our main men.

A weird thing happened yesterday, i was playing houston and during the first game of the season Francis got injured and was out for 13 days. I was playing my 10th game yesterday and this is Francis' 3rd or 4th game back, during the 4th quarter, Penny Hardaway(i traded mobley) got injured and he was out for the game. When i checked the stats after the game, i saw a bandaid beside Francis' name and he was going to be out for 6 days and Penny was Ok!

just wondering, for those of you playing in dynasty mode and getting injuries for more than a game - i.e., getting players injuried for several days/weeks - what is your setting for the injury frequency slider? just curious.... i get injuries but they come back later in the game. my injury slider is set to 63 or something like that.... i'd like to get it to be more realistic... thanks...

My settings are all on default except for fatigue(45) in All-Star Level.
I had Kobe miss 6 days and Francis for 13 days and 6 days. The others were just for the game.

Does this mean certain players get injured more than others? I've managed to get Ginobili hurt three times in three different games now. The pussy.

I had Nowitzki and Nash injured in consecutive games when I played a Season with Dallas. Dirk was 2 weeks out and Nash went out for 4 days, so I played one game without them both.

In my current Nuggets dynasty, after 14 games I didn't suffered injuries so far.
