DBF Editing Problem

Help me out here!

I created a new player. Placed him on SIxers' roster. Saved the roster. And I exit out of nba08.
Then I went to edit \My Documents\NBA Live 08\saves\NewRoster\players.dbf and changed some value of my new created player. I then saved the changes made to the players.dbf.

The problem is this, when i try and load that roster, some players heights are now changed (elton brand become 6'5, dalembert - 6'2.).

What am i doing wrong?
I just want to edit my new created player's values (destiny, hotspot, ftritual, GTM, so on) and leave other players untouched.

Which program did you use to edit the file?

DBF Manager i got from google.

I'm not familiar with that one so I'm not aware of any issues. You might want to give DB Commander a try though.

Does DB Commander automatically saves changes made to the file?

If not, how do you save files using DB Commander.

That would be due to the update we made to the Downloads database a while back, I'll have to fix that up. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, DB Commander saves changes automatically but you can also save manually by clicking the tick icon underneath the database display.
