NBA Live 09 Dynasty Objectives

Hi All,
I have started a dynasty with the Miami Heat and selected the "Grow and Improve" direction thinking this will best suit the Heat roster. I am paying specific attention to winning the ROY award with Mike Beasley, All NBA First Team with D-Wade and All NBA Second Team with Shawn Marion. However, i pay the most attention to playing a rookie 25+ mins/game.
These goals all seem to occur at the end of the regular season. How am i supposed to upgrade my staff during the season when all goals are completed at the end of the regular season.
The answer is probably obvious but i thought it might be quicker to ask the experts.

Well, you don't. You upgrade them year-to-year.
