I have started working on a complete band update for NBA Live 2004. It gives the bands better textures, more realistic colors and resizes the long wristbands. I will do the same with the headbands. So far I have made the textures but need some help with the colors.

Does anyone know where the color files, the files that decides what color the bands shall have, are located?

nice idea, but i think it doesn't bring too much, cause you just see this when you zoom to the arm

about the color files....you just need to make the white one...it's all about DBF editing....
when you set COLOURTYPE to 0,the color will change automatically with the jerseys.....

but some teamcolors are not correct, like the Lakers one, in the game they wear purple with home games and yellow with away games....do U know these color codes?

Damn...I feel so dumb lol....all I had to do is switch them.....what did I smoke?

if you want to find out the code of a special color you can edit a band or something else of a player in edit player to a custom color,then look in the dbf in the autocolor-field of this player and there is the code

I have figured out how to solve this color thing now. I just include a teamgear.dbf file with the updated colors in. That way you guys don't need to bother with all the dbf editing. Here is a preview of the updated textures and colors of the Pacers:



I will also update the NBA headbands with realistic colors. Stay tuned...

i think you should change the size of the elbow bands if possible, make them a bit bigger, but anway good quality work as always
