Freakin' Crowd

When I enable the crowd on high it lags me [with everything else @ high with ultra high players]

What is the config trick so i can make my fps better?

I heard it's a core 2 duo thing

If your card is 8600gt it will really lag if you enable the crowd on high(ive also encountered that in my other computer)

2.5GHZ CORE 2 DUO
8600GS NVIDIA 512MB [on srtest.com it says 2.2gb ]
4GB RAM
64-bit Vista Home Per.
250GB MEM

PS: If you guys don't mind can you tell if i can play GTA IV in high settings or what settings u think i can play in

my guess is the videocard isnt fast enough an 8600GS is supposed to be slower than the 8600GT so your card is below the recommended requirement of a 7900GT (7900GT>8600GT>8600GS)

so try turning some details down

as for GTAIV, I heard that the game needs a quad to run smoothly on high, guys at guru3d with Oced (3ghz+ ) Core2duos and cards faster than yours (9800GTX and above) are having problems with the game on high..

oh cool thx honestly im happy with medium crowd cuz the on high the front row stands up the whole game and medium they sit down and stand up sometimes.

As for GTA IV i'll buy it and see if it plays on some high settings.

btw: anyone know the settings for GTA? (Like brightness, city detail, etc.)

your gta IV won't work anywhere close to high if you'll have a 1280×1024 resolution and med specs you'll be very happy... i doubt you'll get med specs
