The patches replace the existing screens. For example, the Reorder Roster workaround replaces the Inactive List screen with the traditional (and preferable) Reorder Roster function.

In the sgsm folder. By default, that's C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\sgsm.

Hello all i have been trying to do the same. Has anyone come with a solution to this? Because I have put the patch on the sgsm folder as well as the trade option to show salaray. But as I go on and got to nba live 08 nothing has changed! The only patch that worked succesfully was the roster one 2.5. Help please!! I want to get started playing!!

Make sure the file is directly in the games sgsm folder, and not a subdirectory. I put them in directories inside the archive and when people extract the fiel, they don't pay attention and they end up in a subdirectory and complain when it doesn't work. Once you are sure you have the file in you games sgsm directory, start your dynasty mode and choose the inactive list and it will bring you to the player rotation or reorder roster screen depending on which one you chose to use. You can't use them both, since they both replace the same screen. I suggest the Reorder Roster one, because NBA Live 08 doesn't even use the Player Rotation feature during simulation or gameplay.

You can upload screenshots to the Forum using the attachment feature. You can also upload them to sites like photobucket and post a link if you prefer.

No need. It seemed to have happen all over the forum, so it wasn't your fault.

Try this.

Use Winrar(free program, search google to download) and open the Reorder_Roster_workaround.rar archive, go into the Reorder Roster directory and drag the screens~teammgmt~injreserv.big file onto your desktop.
Find your NBA Live 08 shortcut, which is either on your desktop, or foudn through the start menu. Right click it and choose 'properties' from the popup menu.
When the Propertis window shows up, click 'Find Target'. This will take you to NBA Live 08's main directory.
From the main directory, open the sgsm folder.
Now drag that screens~teammgmt~injreserv.big file from your desktop to your sgsm directory.
Start the game and it should work.

If that doesn't work I have absolutely no idea how to help you.

I sent cubs08 the .big file and he got it to work, so I'm guessing he might have just placed the .rar file in the sgsm folder instead.
