i like ur work kris but i dont liek this roster :(
players lose dribbles too easily i feel that some are very underrated or overrated
subs are still messed up brian scalabrine played more than kg :(

dont worry roster is now fixed dunk ratings and overall ratings for all players are now fixed ill release this when im satisfied with it..

I am now using the NLSC roster by Andrew and it gives me the best results. Also i went through the ratings for about 20 teams and compared season stats from the last two years and they seem to be spot on. Andrew does a good job at his roster. Its more a reflection of actual statistics and talent, than a reflection of his own opinion and favor. This has been the problem with other rosters i think. I felt that some other roster makers made it to much to their liking instead of more realism. If I had to rate the 4 rosters I have used they'd go in this order

1. NLSC08 by Andrew
2. Webberf1 updated roster by Webberf1/Flip
3. Albys realistic roster
4. Kris roster

On to stats I got. I'll post some pics later but typing is good enough.

I play 9 minute quarters on Superstar level using the last slider settings posted here by Flip. I may be moving up to 12 Minutes because of the low scoring in some games. I avg about 89 ppg =D. Thats a lil less than the league avg this year. The league high in ppg i think was the Mavs with 105ppg. I may be wrong, or that may be from 2007 season.

Last game I played was Rockets (me) vs. Jazz (cpu). Final score was 97 to 85, I won. My fg percentage was 44% with me taking about 85 shots I believe and i went 2 for 5 from 3pt Land. The cpu shot about 38% from the field and went about 3 for 7 from 3pt land. There were a decent number of foul shots. Not many turnovers, only about 11 or 12 combined for both teams.

Only problem is that i still have the biug where the cpu does not sub out players in foul trouble. Thats with any roster i use. Can someone tell me what to download for this. I believe I have the sub fix but would reinstalling it help? And was the sub fix even for fouls or just for fatigue subbing.

bro! you really out did yourself this time! d@mn bro, in the seven games i played vs cpu teams in dynasty i lost 4 games and the rest were wins by a hairline! :D

here are my initial notes for the test aiact and settings using your rosters for 12mins Superstar(adjusted time to 12 mins bro, hope you don't mind).

Good points:
1. CPU now does crossovers! (Y)
2. Both defense and offense are now running back very quickly
3. Defense is S-T-I-C-K-Y. (Y) its really hard to get open unless you make good offensive plays.
4. CPU has improved Offensive plays and playmaking meaning, if there is an opening the'll drive but if there isn't they'll pass and look for the open players.
5. Has improved low post plays
6. It's very difficult to win this time, which is good! :twisted:

Things to look upon for the included sliders:

1. With your slider settings, CPU almost makes 90% of shots in-the-paint even when duble or triple teamed but this could easily be fixed by slider tweaking. ;)
2. Sub frequency is also a bit innacurate, which can also be remedied by slider tweaking.
3. Related to this, foul trouble players don't get sudbed immediately. (pssst...pareng Maek any new updates on sub fixes? ;) )
4. Overall fg shot % was good / realistic: range 42 % to 48% for both user and cpu teams
4. I'll try to tweak the sliders and give feedback again ok.

Things to look upon for the aiact:
1. .... umm, none. it's perfect! :mrgreen:

Overall, i can say that this truly has the best gameplay i've played among all your aiact fixes. even bested sgpf 1.0 aiact in my opinion. ;) I believe its a go for release bro. :mrgreen:

oh, i forgot to post screens as my computer is a little buggy as of the moment but will try to post when i can. oki. 8-)

hey kris to get lebron to get more assists start him on pg and put delonte on sg and wally on sf.

in defensive matchups switch lebron to guard the sg and go to the cpu and switch the cpu sg to guard lebron

cleveland has a wierd offense but this is the way to get close to how they run in real life

Dont worry bro rosters is now fixed 100% with good ratings (both overall and dunk ratings ) so no need to have a prob

yah i definitely see some good plays with this damn aiact its really hard for me to win games cuz the defense is so sticky..

btw ive also edited it a bit more to really get that good passing from inside and outside players..

My roster or Andrews roster + this latest aiact that i made = BEST NBALIVE GAMEPLAY EVER :D

Kris, hey does your fix fixes bad alley oops, easy inbounds steals and bad passes in example my player above the free throw line, teammate is about 1 meter far from me and when i pass cpu picks this pass... does your fix fixes these things?

After I had tried the latest aiact, I must say that I've only got open like 10 times... the defense is so damn sticky.

I've had the best ever experience playing LIVE with this new aiact :D

Only thing that bothers me is, I cant hit threes because I dont get open :?

Kris, expect another feedback from me via PM tomorrow :D Today I cant take anymore... Kobe's got me done tonight with his ebo :roll:

does anyone uses player lock?i tried to use it but i get pissed when my teammates makes a bad play. and in dynasty mode u have to pause to enable player lock. but i think using player lock makes tha game realistic. ima try using it again when kris released his latest aiact and roster. keep it goin kris. really appreciate ur work. Flip, Are there a few sliders that i can move to fix this foul sub problem. I'm using the latest sliders you provided and have given my detailed game results, as per above. However, just like you, the cpu does not sub out players in foul trouble.

I just hope theres a way to fix, because i restart games sometimes because the stars of other teams get 3 or 4 fouls by the 2nd quarter and are still in the game. Which means if they foul out, then the rest of the game is easier because they aren't there.

ok guy´s first of all you did a really great job! the aiact is almost perfect! (Y) (Y)

but i got 2 questions:

first one: I just played a dynasty game between NY and Clevland and LeBron attempted only 3 shots in the first half and gave one assist in the end didn´t really play much made only 12 points and 2 dimes. instead of going to lebron and having him drive to the basket the CPU either attemped ja jumper with lebron (the few times he had the ball!) or let "Z" or pavlovic try to score without much success i mus say.
just take it as in info for the next versions or please tell me if you don´t have the problem what i could do to change this. (with dirk against dallas and melo against denver the same thing happend)

ok second is: as we have a almost perfect aiact now i would like to know with simengin you guy´s are using i am currently using the latest version of yeskey1983´s patch but althoug it is good it´s not perfect especially in terms of assits and rebound´s that i have the feeling aren´t really calculated refering to rating´s of players (i tunded Curry down to 40 ORB and 50 DRB and he still grabs 9.8 RPG on dyasty while dwight with both rated 99 grabs 10.3 RPG per game :?: )

just let me know if you have the same problems and witch simengin you use and if it solves these things!

Settings - my documents\NBA LIVE 08\settings
Rosters (but soon will be new better roster) - my documents\NBA LIVE 08\saves
Gameplay Aiact - Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 08\ai\act
Animations - If you are going to use normal aiact, put these files there - Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 08\anim\body, if you are going to use fancy passes and dunks or one of them, don't do that.

I've tested in these days also with my RR 5.5 (release today) and the gameplay is almost perfect (just some different sliders)

showtimelakers, you have a basketball pattern shoes because you did not install the Real Shoes patch. Get that installed and the shoes will be correct.

Kris, I tested your latest aiact more today and I found a bug. Iverson keeps taking threes from 5 feet beyond the three point line. It is very annoying. He take them highly contested too, which always results in a miss. The worst thing is he took it 5 feet behind the arc :roll: Hope you can fix that.
The gameplay overall is still very good though, I'm very impressed. Although I would like to insist that three pointers are too hard to make. I rarely get open. Maybe make user control players get open more often and make threes easier to hit and fix some bugs it'll be good to go. (Y)

I think the defense is perfect. It actually forces you to set plays, and to learn your teams plays. I use the knicks and use a double back screen play to get my SF, quintin richardson open on the left wing. Or I use Iso with my Pg and back down the defender towards the hoop, and kick it out to the arch when the double team comes. Same thing with center post up. I get my share of open 3's.

You actually have to try at offense now, it isnt easy anymore. No more running around and randomly passing and hoping the defense drops an assignment.

As for sliders I use Flips latest sliders which were built for 12 minutes, but i play on 9 minutes and average maybe 85 to 90 PPg. Great sliders.

Just wish I could fix the sub problem, other than that I believe this is a perfect release. Btw, i use NLSC roster by Andrew.
