Oldschool v.s. Newschool Dynasty

Postby Wormy10 on Sun Oct 31, 2004 8:31 am

Hey whats crackin'
As you may have read in my other thread I was thinking of starting an
*Oldschool v.s. Newschool* Dynasty
I have decided to go on with it and give er' a try.
Not too many answered the poll question on what to do  .....

Place players on original team = Bird-Celtics / Magic-Lakers
Fantasy Draft
Place 80's together / 90's together etc.

The decision I made was to put the players on there original team -Bird to Celtics-
I will not be playing any of the games in the season, I know it sounds very odd but as I said it is to get used to everything for when I get a digital camera and start a real dynasty :D
I will just be simulating the games, posting scores and stats, news, etc.

The updates will be very slow until I get the hang of everything

:new: *NEW FEATURES* :new:
There isnt just going to be a Slam-dunk Contest, 3Pt. Contest, All*Star Game, and Rookie-Sophmore Game

New features will include an Oldschool only Dunk Contest & a Newschool v.s. Oldschool Dunk Contest

There will be a Rookie v.s. Oldschool Game, an Oldschool All*Star Game & an Oldschool v.s. Newschool All*Star Game

An Oldschool 3 Pt. Shootout & an Oldschool v.s. Newschool 3Pt. Shootout

Philly looks harder.. why do you have oscar at centre for the kings? I'd rather see:
Miller
Webber
Peja
Oscar
Bibby...

Yea the 76ers are pretty tough
I was looking up the stats for all the players (and I didnt even post them, and it took forever! :x ) and it had him as a Center, I always thought of him as a small-forward but i didnt know
Ill change it up because I dont like Christie anyways :)

I think utah would bench boozer and play okur at center, what are you doing with repeat players btw, like, you are adding hardaway to the magic, but hardaway is currently on the knicks roster. tip: Shaq would fit so much better than hardaway in orlando's current team :P

I figured that Hardaway had alot better career in Orlando that he has any other team to I put him over there
Think it really makes a big difference? I can change it if so

I'm glad you guys are responding :D
Not too many people are
Once I can get that stinkin' John Stockton CAP ill be starting
And Okur has a lower rating that Boozer so he will probably play, but I wont be controlling them so I have no idea, Pistol Pete should help out alot for the Jazz

OPENING NIGHT
The pre-season is over, the young rising stars have had there training and they are gonna show the world what they can do ..... against a bunch of old guys
Yes, Oldschool players from all decades are coming back for at least one more season, just to see if they still have what it takes against the Newschool squad of players
Some are long dead as you may now, but we have been able to extract some DNA from there original corpses and were able to make a new model of them, with the same abilities etc.
This will be a big test for the Oldschool, are they gonna show who's boss and take over this new team of players, and show that the Oldschool is in and Newschool is out
Or are they gonna get laughed out of the building for their old ways and really really short shorts :?
Its the beginning to what we hope to be a wonderful comeback for these Old-timers, lets see what they got so far .....

Kareem, Worthy, & Magic make their debut on their home court, only its had some new editions made to it
