i was just wondering for the xbox 360 lighting mod which works for live 07, does it also work for 2005? if it does, may i please have it? :D

Its hard to find the settings.dat on here. Look in the 2005 and 06 sections. The 06 settings should also work.

where in the 'downloads' section do i find the settings.dat? my bad, i mean what category like announcements, general issues, patch requests, " " issues, etc?

ok it works. but now i have shadows flashing in the game, sometimes from the players sometimes from the thing in the top middle. how can i get this fixed? also, my gameplay become a bit choppy and doesnt run smoothly.

if you have all these problems then lighting probably shouldnt be used on your computer

did it happen to you before too? i remember you used it before when you were playing in the practice mode. also here, my practice court floor flashes => Image

That is what happened to me when I used it. There is no option you can change. Either get a new graphics card or play without lighting.

Exit the game. Go to my documents/nba live 2005/settings.dat

Delete the settings.dat

Load up the game.

Tell me if that works

whats better: anisotropic, bilinear, or trilinear?

It has to do with how well the textures get drawn in the game, when you view them from far away and from a steep angle..
And as SilasDC said: Anisotropic filtering is the best (slowest), after that comes Trilinear, and last comes Bilinear filtering (fastest).
If you have a very good computer, run the game with anisotropic, but if have a 'not-so-good' computer, use trilinear or even bilinear.
