Utah Jazz
no ones done them, they ain't that great, but they got some good young guys like Kirk Synder....I seriously considered choosing them for my dynasty instead of Bobcats but went with 'Cats at the last minute....go for it
I agree. The Jazz in the post Mailman/Stockton era is an intriguing pick...
Something for consideration, though... You've been playing with the Lakers so you get 3 - 4 games against each Western Conference team per year, while only 2 with each Eastern Team. So you might consider picking an Eastern Conference struggling team...
Let's see them all one by one:
ATLANTA - B-o-r-i-n-g. I just can't get in any groove playing the Hawks. I started a dynasty with them prior to my GS one, and couldn't find myself playing the second game of the season... Maybe it's just me.
BOSTON - No Lakers fan in the right mind should consider using the Celts. It would be treason to your beliefs, and do not tell me otherwise...
CHICAGO - They were once one of the greatest of all times, you can't top that... Plus it's toomuch of an obvious choice, since everybody is a Bulls fan even a little bit...
CLEVELAND - Too obvious, LBJ fans pick them all the time. You don't want to seem like a LBJ bandwagoner like every 14 year old, do you?
NEW JERSEY - They've already been to the Finlas twice, and now they have to rebuild to get back there. With Kidd, Carter and R-Jeff at backcourt, you'll probably be trading some spare parts for an adequate/good big man and end up dominating as early as the first season.
TORONTO - Post Carter era, rebuilding the Raptors, blah-blah, how many times have you heard that story already?
NEW YORK - There are two dynasties running already, and I wouldn't want to be Isaea , not even on a video game...
WASHINGTON - Nice pick, but there's already a good Wiz dynasty by Heiks....
CHARLOTTE - Now that's obvious as hell. Expansion team, no goals for the first few seasons, almost every contract expiring at 2005, plus X is 'The Guy' in Charlotte in this forum...
Down to the last two, and my personal preferences:
2. MILWAUKEE - Always under the radar, Redd is fun to play with, Mason is exciting, and with the post-deadline lineup they expect to be crap. If I didn't hate those old uniforms they still use.
And finally, my personal choice:
1. ORLANDO MAGIC: Let's see.
- Worst team in the league last year
- Steve Francis trying to establish himself back as the 'Franchise' of 2 years back.
- Super-duper rookie Dwight Howard vying to be the next Amare.
- Superb court design for the TD Waterhouse Center
- Nice jerseys
- Night life in Florida, plus Disneyland!!!
My real, honest selection though would be for you to stick with the Lakers for as long as you can...
