No self respecting basket ball fan plays this game with 'CPU assist on'...
You "Van Horns" have just a better touch with the shooting with his form of shot...
No matter how much you adjust your game, the moment when you release your shot counts for something... With CPU assist on, it counts for more and with CPU assist off, it calculates more on ratings base, but no matter what you do, the release matters, every time...
And COOLmac@... CPU assist is what makes the stroke matter more, so with CPU assist off, it counts more on the ratings and you can't just start shooting them threes with anyone... So you actually by your own definition be playing the game with 'CPU assist on' rather than off...
But this is pointless... The guys shoot differently and some people find it easier to shoot with a certain style and some find it easier with another style... It's a matter of familiarity and what comes to you naturally...
So, someone could be averaging 30 points with Korver, while I struggle to score 10 even with his high shooting ratings...
And the release is everything... Ask any good shooter how important it is to get a shot of just the right way for him... I can tell you that if you leave me open on three point line and let me shoot my 'shot' you'll just be better leaving home already cause the game is over... I get left open, I drain it, every time, or as close to every time as one can get... Like over 80% of the shots... And thus rarely I get the opportunity to put up just that shot. I usually have to rush it a little bit and that hurts the percentages quite hard... Release is everything... If you got time, you can make it easy, but if you have to rush it, you can't make anywhere near the open shot percentages...
