but those situations with classic teams i could dig that, lets say a finals game between bulls and jazz, bulls ahead make sure jazz wins playoffs or something like that(not that im a jazz fan or anything)
That'd be great, say you'd choose what your pick is in a screen and you'd watch a quarter of game play with rookies from around your pick playing each other. Maybe you'd even be able to say, play C's around the 17th pick. Although I doubt we'd see that in 2004, maybe in 2005.ruffryder8 wrote:Why dont they make working out rookies and FA's like in college bball games? You should pick your players work em out and see how good they are (also like madden). Plus i know someone already said this but we need more in depth scouting reports. And how about a top prospect list that shows the best college/high school players? And instead of having a rookie automatically added to your roster how about signing them. You might not have cap room available and you might not want the last rookie in the last round on your team.

I know, I know.
Personally, I don't think unlockable features would really work in a sports sim. I don't think you should have to win the championship x amount of times to unlock the championship teams - it would take too long. Nor should you have to unlock each legend by performing a feat during a game.
The ability to unlock features works better in a fighting game or arcade-style racing game, a game that progresses more quickly.

You could unlock things by accomplishing certain challenges in the game, like in madden. You could unlock a different game ball for scoring 30 points or special teams for winning a championship or bonus players(like dennis rodman) if you grab 20 rebounds on all-star or superstar.

What about players deciding to come out of retirement?
