I've sold 5 or 6 things and made 15-20 purches on ebay and I can't say that I've ever had a problem. My only advice is to be careful if you are buying designer clothes and whatnot. There are a ton of powersellers who advertise 100% authentic shirts/sweaters/jeans and they are actually 100% unauthentic. I bought a Lacoste polo from a powerseller and it turned out to be fake, but it all worked out okay and I got a refund. I would have to suggest that if you are buying expensive clothing you should

Is the jersey authenticated? You'll get a LOT more for your jersey if you send it in to be authenticated by an authentication company...PSA and GAI are generally good choices. It'll cost money to get authenticated, but you'll make at least twice as much as you would selling it without certificate of authenticity.
