speaking of non real first names used in the nba, isnt ray allen's real first name something different? i read somewhere the ray was just a nickname they gave him because of his great 3pt shooting. correct me if im wrong.

Smush isnt that bad compared to names like Tracy, Stacey, Sam, Nicky which can be used for both sexes. I find Nicky quite a feminine name and the same with Stacey/Stacy.

Strangely, in the year Parker entered the draft nbadraft.net had him projected go to to the Lakers in the 1st round, like in the first mock they did for that year.

i think he used smush exclusively when he played streetball... never was he referred to a "william" even on the credits... i sounds like a fusion of smooth and woosh doesn't it? I dunno, but it's catchy...
