Andrew wrote:I haven't been watching Tough Enough religiously, but I have been keeping tabs on it and a couple of things have really bugged me lately, specifically Trish and Stone Cold talking about working hurt. Obviously it's part of the business to a certain extent but reading Bret Hart's book where he describes the cocktails of painkillers that a lot of his contemporaries used to down so they work injured (not to mention the story of WCCW) and it's clear that it played a big part in the premature deaths of a lot of wrestlers. Endorsing the approach of working hurt really seems to clash with the Wellness Policy and is a bit disappointing to see.
