I traded in PS2 at EB back in June, so PS2 trade-in values might have dropped by then, not sure....but then again, Xbox 360 console prices are also slightly cheaper....
for my PS2, memory card, one controller, 13 games, I think I got like $270 or something....$70 for console & controller, $5 for memory card, $15 for each game ($195 all up)....
I paid $615 for Xbox 360 premium pack console....about $60 or so for wireless controller, $50 for two rechargeable battery packs....got 3 games (COD2 - $80, NBA2k6 - $80, Oblivion Collector's Edition - $75)....I also paid like about $80 for 2 year EB warranty....
I also purchased 5 copies of Halo (Xbox) for $12.50 and 10 copies of GT3 (PS2) for $12.50 and immediately traded them in for $15.50, which saved me $45....
all in all, I spent like $710 or so, although without extended warranty, it's essentially $630....
so depending on the number of games you got on PS2, you might be able to get $200+ trade-in on PS2 & games....find an EB that has console at or close to $600 retail....just work the sales person....say that you saw it somewhere else for $599 (which I have seen it for around) & they'll probably do it, because they want to sell the consoles so they sell more games....
good luck....
