yes there are different degrees of the learning disability levels. the dertimination is by a test taken by the person suspected of having it at places desinged schools to teach learning disabled. the closest one i know of and is where i took mine is lexington ky. the serverity of the degree depends on some diffenting things, and i don't remember them all, but the bigesst one i remrmber is age. the younger its appers the more sever it is tends to be. in my case it didnt appear fully until later. until high school, but the signs had been there for a long while, they just didnt appear fully until then for some reasonons. my level is cloest to the last point of being clasassifed has having it, but you half to remember, its there and i also have sever hearing loss. nothing in one ear and greater than 80% the other so that too impacts this. the rest also goes to. factors very greatly inpact the matter for dysliixa at a much greater levels then it does for most people as i explained already. the impact is more pronnounced under different conditions at that moment in of time. so, believe it or illini i do have it and dont say i don't.
i do the best i'm able to do, but if you read my other post you can see they change greatly depending on time, and length and words I'm using at any given point. being dyslexic means your going to have miss words in a sentence, reversing word order, miss spelling is most common one in leaving letters out or reversing letters in a word. there more, but that the common signs of it. only throws who seen it and throws trained to see the learning issue know for sure if someone has it. most people dont and arent trained to see it, even teacher now really just are being taught to know what to look out for. one more common thing is how for some dyslexics read then write the exact same thing. you cant assume either they do or or dont have it it, you half to know what your looking at or you must take it at face value until you know what your looking at. i can read and write, but i do have issues with it. believe it or not i'm probably better at then i have been because i know how to work with it and having the computer helps, plus i love to write. if i didnt have throws pieces, i'd be considerably worse at writing. i cant hand write anymore because my hand writing is several times worse than computer screen writing. the difference is like going from high school back to lower grade school level. sometimes that the case still in computer use writing when i in a rush or am tired and dont know what i'm writing. i hope this helps some you to see where i half to come from and i know i do the best can with it. when you post odd, there sometimes is a good reason for it, if you take anything from this post please dont assume something unless you know the facts or or trained in some way to know what you looking for.
that all i ever ask of people, dont assume unless you know.
ps beji is half right, there isnt much you can do, two things you can do for some with dyslexia is remind someone like me to slow down and write in there own pace and not rush it and ask them questions of what there writing if its that unreadable. sometimes that will help them to see there mistakes and help them fix it. that doesnt work in every case, but does in some cases.
