im just stating that if someone doesnt like rap than just dont talk about it and listen to something else.
Ima put my 5 cent in dis mug right here. Hip-hop and Rap isn't jus music. All of it is life. Rappers talk about wat they been thru, and ppl can relate cuz they been thru it. Sum songs present negative tho. Sum ppl dont like hearin dat, and i understand, but dats how sum ppl express dem selves. wen we hear sumthin like "Lean wit rock wit it" we loved dat. We havin fun wit dancin wit it. But sum ppl are so quick to judge and dont know nuttin about hip-hop or rap. they dont know why we listen to sumthin like dat. Its got a rythm dat we can bounce to. im not even gon get deep wit it cuz it will have somethin to do wit racism and dats tha main reason why hip-hop is so disliked. im not racist or nuttin, but im jus speakin tha truth. dis right here aint even 1/4 of wat its really bout tho. i aint even gon explain myself about all of it cuz cant nobody handle tha truth so..............

They hear a couple of songs on the radio being played and think "holy shit they talkin bout' pussies!" and start thinkin that every single rapper does that. But unfortunatly no. IMO the best rap is the gangsta ones that talk about there life and what they been through.

I'm not saying that all rap sucks, I'm saying that all the rap I've heard sucks... but maybe I will try and give those other ones a chance. I mean I'm all for supporting Canadian music (although that crab-bucket song by K-OS or whatever was the biggets piece of shit...) but if it's on the CBC then I guess it must be good...

But isn't like, Jenny from the Block, considered hip-hop? I mean, I know it's garbage, but it's definitely not rap. BTW, we're not really debating. These people are trying to convince me that there is something in hip-hop "music" actually worth listening to. Why make a post to say you won't post?
