Nobody else plays with your team but you. Hmm i always struggle to explain this but see if you understand my crap explanation:
You will find your team involved in match results of 3 kinds:
- Human
- Cpu (also classed as human in this league for whatever reason)
- Sim
Every week you will will see your team involved in AT LEAST ONE of each. (There is no set amount however. But it's generally 1 human, 1 cpu and 2 sims)
Human games are you vs the cpu (you are always the home team in human games)
Cpu games are someone else playing with their team against your team (that would be a human game to them, but not you.)
Sim games are cpu vs cpu. (These are the games that count, because 9.9 times out of 10 human games are won, so whoever wins the sim game battles usually determine the better teams.)
Anyway, i'm not sure if that was clear, but it all works out nicely in the end. Basically what you are to do in this league is:
1. Play your human game every week (you will always have 1 human game every week. No more, no less (unless you've been eliminated from the playoffs)
2. Sim 1, 2 or even 3 games (depending on how many you request for that week. Usually 1 is sufficient. But if you've got free time you can do more. Or if you will have no time that week then request 0)
3. Be fairly active. This means posting a team news article every once in a while. Checking in at the site daily (or every 2 days or whatever) to check for site news updates, or forum posts, or lineup changes, or inbox messages, or new injuries to your team, etc etc. It sounds like a lot but all it is is 5 or 10 minutes to check up on some stuff. If you've got time to kill then update your player bios or make a long team news article or go suss out theories on what kind of team it takes to win sim games or go figure out a trade that might suit you. Whatever.
There is also a "GM point" system that rewards good deeds. This basically means you are rewarded once in a while for continuing to sim games and do team news things etc etc. GM points come in handy for persuading FA's etc. I wont get into that now, it's in the rules anyway probably.
And yes, you need NBA Live 07 to play. You also need ICQ. That's what we use to contact other members if u wanna talk trades or whatever.
God damn you'd think i was an admin there or something lol.
