wisdom_kid wrote: really don't know where you are getting your information from. I lived in Saudi Arabia for a while, and even today my dad tells me stories that happened in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia being the main "Arab" country has strict rules based on Islam, and for every violation there is a justified punishment. eg: stealing/robbing a house or store has the punishment of losing your hand. I have never heard of killing a person for violating a rule.
Just because you've never heard of it doesn't mean it hasn't happened:
Saudi Arabia on April 16, 2001, five homosexuals were sentenced to 2,600 lashes and 6 years in prison, and four others to 2,400 lashes and 5 years’ imprisonment for “deviant sexual behavior.” Amnesty International subsequently reported that six men were executed on charges of deviant sexual behavior
It is difficult to establish precisely the number of homosexuals that have been executed in Iran since the Islamic revolution in 1979, since not all sentences are widely publicized, but estimates range from several hundred to 4,000 (3). According to Amnesty International, at least three homosexual men and two lesbians were publicly beheaded in January 1990. The Islamic Penal Law Against Homosexuals, approved in July 1991 and ratified in November of that year, is simple. Article 110: “Punishment for sodomy is killing; the Sharia judge decides on how to carry out the killing.” Article 129: “Punishment for lesbianism is one hundred (100) lashes for each party.” Article 131: “If the act of lesbianism is repeated three times and punishment is enforced each time, the death sentence will be issued the fourth time.”
And that's just homosexuals. There's been a rash of murders by Muslims of Christians. It's big in Africa and the Phillipines. It's by people cut from the same cloth as the Islamists and those who are regularly fired up by them.
Other Muslim countries were also being invaded by countries; like Chechnya, Bosnia, Palestine and Kashmir. Canada currently has troops in Afghanistan.
What does this have to do with attacking America on 9/11? Russia's in Chechnya and it's been the Chechen's who attacked, such as the barbarians at Beslan. The Balkins were a major example of Americans attempting to help protect Muslims, like in Kuwait. No American troops have ever wandered into "Palestine" (which only recently re-existed) and Kashmir.
Also, there's one key point here. You said for "troops to get off Arab lands" and only Palestine is an "arab land" from the ones listed above.
The argument against Western troops is stupid. Where were Western troops stationed? In places to protect Muslims from each other. Lebanon "protected" from Syria. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to protect from Iraq. Until Iran started junk up, there hadn't been a war between Middle East states since Iraq invaded Kuwait after decades of near endless conflict.
I don't know how you speak on the behalf of the Islamists. Islamic leaders don't want to defeat the west for simply being the west. The reason the West is called the Infidels because their lifestyles are affecting the world, I know there isn't anything to stop that but that is part of the reason. The other reason you know is the Western troops being in Muslim countries. I really think you have some sort of hatred towards Muslims, why do you keep relating Hitler and Nazis to Islamists? Pretty sad.

What's sad is your lack of awareness.
Islamists != all Islamic leaders or all Muslims. (Even if they never criticize them.)
Islamists range from those are secularists and use Islam to build popular support such as the Hussein family or those who believe they have to bring on the apocalypse such as the Poison Dwarf. Like the Nazi's and Communists before them they simply wish to expand their power, they are using rhetoric to gain support from people who would never support them otherwise. Would a standard Muslim or standard German support slaughtering innocents for their religion, would they support trying to claim all citizens were actually combatants and therefore justifying their slaughter. No. But it's easy to get swept up in it, especially when a government holds absolute control and lies endlessly.
When these kids are told endlessly lies about everything, when their leaders are vowing to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, when they're calling people to arms. Of course they would ignore a peaceful strain of Islam and take up the militant strain in support of the Islamists.
You can claim conspiracy theories, but just read the writings, the speeches, the statements of the Islamists. They're very clear in their desire to restore the Caliphate. bin Laden, Hussein, Iran, they all have wished to do it under their name.
You also cannot deny the history of Muslim expansion and attempts at world domination. Hell, Mohammed started things off by conquering the Arabian peninsula, pushing out peoples of other religions by many means. And this was after he had already repelled the invasion from Mecca and reached a peace treaty. He and his followers still tried to expand Islam, they weren't happy with what they had. I intially wouldn't blame Muhammed as much as his followers, after all they started things by blaming, murdering (beheading) and enslaving Jews after the battle of the trench without real evidence, they are the ones to launch war to conquer the world from Spain to India. But on the other hand, Muhammed never hesistated to abandon doctrines to secure a political end. Which is a strain of the Islamic trait is it not?
Actually. He also sent troops against the Byzantines in Syria even though they had never engaged each other. And he did attack Khaybar simply for a new military victory turning any survivors into serfs. And he had killed plenty of Jews in Medina. And you know what, he did participate in the genocide after the battle of the trench so his hands aren't clean from that either. Maybe Muhammed was the first Islamist after all. Interesting, I never really thought about Muhammed too much, I simply bought the line he was peaceful and it was his followers who had peverted the Muslim faith in his wake. Interesting indeed.
I find it enlightning that when someone criticizes Islamists who butcher and oppress people. When someone says they'd like to see Muslims be free of them. That you claim they hate Muslims.
Though my questioning of Muhammed probably gives you reason enough to believe that, even if it's an attempt at rational analysis.
Oh well, if you can just rush and claim I hate Muslims it'll stop you from trying to defend the Islamist barbarians. It'll save bandwidth.
