Well over the past couple days, the hunt has been on and guess who was convicted of the crime? My own next door neighbors, who live 20 yards from my house.

Here everything is so calm... I leave my car on the street, in front of my house... Been doin' that for like 3 years... Nobody ever touched my car... Once I came home drunk as hell and left the car unlocked, windows open... Two days after I went over it to ride it to school and was shocked to see it was the same way I left it...
lol... I never thought murder could be this funny. Not that it's actually funny, but if you forget the fact that 50 people died it is. I guess I'm just a bad person.wangster wrote:Maybe you folks have heard about this too...
I live in a little town in BC, Canada. And a couple years back, the greatest police investigation in the history of the province took place just a few blocks away from my house, and is still ongoing though in lesser magnitude. There's a pig farm (now the whole thing is notoriously dubbed "the pig farm"... kinda funky) at the outskirt of my town and allegedly upwards of 50 bodies of prostitutes are buried underneath the farmhouse. They've been digging, and they've found about 20 or so bodies so far, I think. The owner of the farm is being charged with 15 counts of manslaughter (or murder, not too clear on this due to my relative ignorance) and the charges are projected to pile up like the dead bodies. The 50 missing women were being searched for quite a long time previously, but no one expected all those cases to be related and to be concentrated in some farm in a little Lower Mainland municipality, so far away from Downtown Vancouver where the prostitutes were last seen. I mean, this is a place a few blocks away from where I live. The whole province of BC, not to mention the whole town was absolutely shocked. When the investigation just started, I remember it being just completely crazy. Everyone was talking about it everyday. Teachers would forget to teach classes discussing how the investigation is going. And the area around where I live was constantly on TV for many weeks. Really, this is some place that I've regularly walked or biked past without giving it any thought. Some of the people I know had actually being to the farm. The whole thing was just completely mind-blowing for me. Of course, it's being two years and things have more or less died down for quite a while, but I know I will never forget "the pig farm" as long as I live.

not much has gone on in my town...though when i was in bermuda a week ago (i know you all missed me) some lady got on a buss really drunk and high. she screamed "I PAYED MY TAXES!" a bunch of times. it was quite funny. some other people boarded the buss not knowing what was going on, she tells one "sit heeare!" and patted the seat and the kid did. she pulled a knife on him but some guy who we were sitting near took the knife away from her and dragged her off the buss to get arrested. good times....
