What were your school years like?

Postby J@3 on Wed Aug 24, 2005 7:25 pm

In my never ending effort to intrude in other peoples privacy, I figured I'd ask people what school was like for them year by year since the 7th grade. I'm sure the Americans will confuse the hell out of everyone with their Freshmore Sophmen or whatever but still...

AUSTRALIA

YEAR 7: Culture shock. I showed up at school and was kinda nervous, since it was the first day of high school and all. I went to an assembly and standing there was a guy who would've been an easy 6'6. I asked him how old he was and he goes "12". I gave him my "join the circus, freak" look (which kinda looks like a mix of  :x and :o ) but then we ended up playing basketball together later on. As far as actual learning goes, I don't really remember a great deal. Me no so gud @ skool.

YEAR 8: I switched schools to be closer to my local basketball stadium. It was in a posh area, surrounded by gigantic houses and the most gorgeous teenage girls you will ever see. I don't know what it is, rich people = hot. Maybe it's the home gym's or something. Anyways it was a decent school, well designed and I had a grand total of 1 guitar lesson while I was there. It sucked, I still owe the teacher her $18.

Year 9: I switched back to my old school when I realised 2 busses a day wasn't worth an hour a day extra basketball... if that makes sense. The school was same old same old... boring to the point where I actually dropped out for 3 months half way through the year. I went back and passed the grade, but still didn't want to be there. When it's 40 degrees outside and you're in the middle of nowhere these things get boring.

Year 10: I didn't bother going back to school for year 10 until my best friend persuaded me to go to his high school. I went there about 1/2 way through the year and loved it. The place kicked ass, the people were great and I s0 d0min8d 0n d@ bball c0urt. Also while playing rugby league. As fate would have it, I moved to England about 2 weeks before the end of the year so I never finished the grade.

ENGLAND

Year 12: Yes, after failing to complete the 10th grade I went straight into year 12 in England. The work was easy enough, but the most difficult things were the distractions. Being foreign means everyone wants to know you, so basically everytime I had a class there were 10 or so people with free periods who wanted me to hang out with them. Being as weak willed as I am, I skipped a whole lot of lessons. I also used to take JD and coke to school so I would be able to stay awake since I was always out at night too.

I had an absolute Nazi for a teacher. She even had a moustache and took an instant hate to me. I never got caught smoking weed or drinking on school grounds at all, but I did get court with my shirt untucked, the wrong shoes on and also for playing basketball during free periods (which isn't allowed). One day I had free's all morning so I went into school late, she confronted me because my shirt was untucked (I was on my way to play basketball, for the school so I was getting changed as I walked) and fully verballed me. I just nodded and grinned which bothered her, and she told me to go and see her in her office. After I'd finished playing basketball I couldn't be fucked, so I went to my last class and went home.

Later that night I was out with some friends and my mum called me to say the teacher had called and said she wanted me and her (my mum) to see her on Monday. I thought it was an alright idea and maybe I'd be able to get a few things off my chest. About 30 minutes later I got another call from my mum, she said the female teacher had called her back and said "Actually don't worry about the meeting, it would be best if Jae no longer attended our school"... I later found out that she had no authority to kick me out, so I was illegally expelled. Awell.

In case you forgot the question, how's school life been for you?

I'll contribute by sharing a quick recap of my high school years.....

Grade 8 - NZ & Australia
I was in NZ at the time and started out at a big high school (Burnside HS, ChCh, NZ) and didn't know anyone and the place sucked. Fortunately my dad swapped and changed again and moved my sister and I back to Brisbane, where I went to a high school (Craigslea SHS, Brisbane, Oz) that I knew a couple of people from the primary school that I went to. I was quite smart so I got very good grades. I also shot up from about 5'4" to 5'11" in a couple of months. I remember playing basketball everyday, rain, sun or whatever.

Grade 9 - Australia
I was still in Oz at the time and continued getting very good grades and played basketball for the Grade 10 team that year. Got one of my bottom teeth chipped (tooth is still chipped today, haven't got it fixed) in a lunchtime game of rugby league. It hurt like hell. The irony of it is that the guy (Mark Beatton) who did it (it was accidental) is now serving life imprisonment in Thailand for pushing a Thai hooker off the 4th story of some hotel when he was nailed. Definitely not the guy that I remember as he was a fun loving joker who was a prankster. Apparantly in the years after I left he got really strange. But back to the topic, I didn't finish that school year as my dad swapped and changed again and moved back to Christchurch, NZ (good old family breakup from a couple of years earlier to throw everything into turmoil) in around October/November of that year. Even though I left Oz for many years, I am now am mates with a lot of people that I went to high school for those 2 years.

Grade 10 - NZ
Started at a new high school (Riccarton HS) in ChCh, NZ. I got good grades and played basketball. I was the last player cut from the senior basketball team that year which cut deep. Played cricket at the end of the year for the Grade 10 team. I starting making friendships which I still have today. Received academic awards in business subjects at prizegiving.

Grade 11 - NZ
Still at same school. Made senior basketball team. Refereed a few junior basketball games. Played cricket for 2nd XI. Grades dipped a little but will still pretty good, especially the business subjects. Received academic awards in business subjects at prizegiving.

Grade 12 - NZ
Still at same school. Vice captain of senior basketball team. This was my funnest year of basketball as our team played a run n gun style that lead to many wins from a young and inexperienced team in which I was the only Grade 12 member of the team. Played cricket at the start of the year for the 2nd XI. Did not play in the 2nd half of the year as it was starting to affect my social life and cutting into drinking time :P Grades were pretty average, but that can be partly attributed to me doing the hardest subjects that were on offer. Received academic awards in business subjects at prizegiving. This was also a party year in which I regularly frequented a heap of parties and started my drinking days :P

My favourite year had to be grade 12, but I loved grade 8 as well....I am many fond and not so fond memories from high school....the thing that I appreciate the most is that I have made a lot of good friends on both sides of the Tasman....I could go on holiday tomorrow to NZ and have a place to stay or someone to drink with....the same as over here....

I was basically your average kid at school....played my sports, computer games, didn't really concern myself too much with girls, hung out with mates....I got along with the "cool" people (well most of them at least) and the "nerds"....everybody's friend basically....

that's all I think, unless anyone cares for any elaboration on this summary....

7th Grade - Amherst Regional Middle School. The school was big and lots of people, combining the 4 elementary schools in the town, as well Pelham and 2 of the other towns surrounding us. I grew a little bit, but also gained some pounds, and grew a "chinese afro", it was weird, and played basketball 24/7. Also went on Quebec trip.

8th Grade - This year sucked and I basically cheated my way through 8th grade. Literally half of my tests and work were copied off of someone elses. This was also the year that I became truely immersed into Anime and webdesign. I was into it a bit in 7th grade, but this year was when it was blown wide open. I hated the teachers and basically put all of my time into the computers, and so, yeah. I had to go to summer school to raise my math and language skills, but I ended up acing everything in summer school cause it was frickin easy. I think we didn't learn crap because our 8th grade teacher didn't know crap. Oh yeah, I also got choked by my english teacher. Oh yeah, also got owned on MCAS.

9th Grade - Freshmen at the High School, which is basically across the street. It was big, but I got used to it right away. Only problem was that its hard with a 6 minute passing period and you have classes on the other side of the school, and you just had gym. Some junior or senior kid died in a car crash, turned out his friend stole a car and he didn't know about it, then the cops chased them, and they flipped the car, and the kid flew out, and got killed. So.. thats the first one. Besides that incident, my Freshmen year was fairly alright, I met up with kids that basically became my friends throughout high school.

10th Grade - Sophmore year, I disliked this year because this year was the 10th grade MCAS year. For all those who don't know, MCAS determines weither your graduate or not in my state, so lots of pressure. My parents like literally beat me to study my head off since i didn't do too well in 8th grade MCAS. I studied literally night and day, and when it came to the test, it was a piece of cake and I got advanced on both, also got scholarship to any public institution in Massachusetts. Also this was my last year playing basketball. The bad thing was that another kid died this year. One guy was on the orange soccer team, and I was on gold, we were scheduled to play his team in the soccer finals for the town championship, and couple days before the game, he dies in a car accident, and my friend was on his team too. It really sucks.

11th Grade - I have to say I hated this year much more than I hated 10th grade... MCAS was annoying, but SATs are about one of the worst possible school ideas Americans have created. This determines which college you can go to, cause the better you get, the better college you can go to. So again I spend my whole days with SAT books, studying and all that crap. I took the Math and English SAT IIs a month before I took the SAT I, and I owned the math but got owned on the english, and it was the same for SAT I. I wasn't satisified with my score and decided to retake it again in October of my senior year. So again I basically spend my whole summer studying for that as well. On a bright note to the year, I played intramural ultiamte in the fall and our team got to the championship game, but we lost in a really tight game. I am still kicking myself for not trying out for the school team, at least JVB in my junior year, but oh well. Also I played SULA, and it was nice and made me a bit better at Ultimate. Another sad note to the year was that we suffered another lose at ARHS, this kid I knew, he died of a dieases he contracted because he had a Heart Transplant, it sucked. Man...

12th Grade - Last year at ARHS! and I just decided to become a 2 sport athlete and take the hardest classes avilable... I ran Cross Country in the fall and it made me so much faster and stronger and put me in much better shape. We finished 2nd in WMASS (we had finished 1st 6 years in a row before this) and got 9th in states. Also I pride myself in running the 24 hour marathon, where groups take turns running, I ran 20 miles :) In the winter I chilled, which was bad because it put me in bad shape for Ultimate. I still managed to make the JVB team with one year of experience and I got one of the 7 starting spots for most of the season, the only times I didn't start was when my allergies were bad and when I was injured. We finished under .500 but it was still fun and had lots of memories. I applied to college and decided to attend hometown UMASS. And recently went back to China for the first time since I came to American (9 years), and went to Ohio with my dad too. Its been a pretty decent year. College starts in about 2 weeks, and I look foward to it.

lol, that's hilarious, but she sounds like a huge bitch.

Pretty crazy about the Thai hooker story :o

As for my story, three grades were in jr. high and the other three were in high school.

Grade 7
Totally different from elementary school. I felt lost in a crowd of people I have never seen before, but fortunately there were a few people I knew in my class and we helped each other out with the locker locations, class schedules, room numbers, etc. It sounds funny now since it's so simple, but at the time, it was all new to me. It was the same year where I really matured from the kiddy stage of elementary school. I was into computers, and I was really into basketball and the NBA. And girls. Also, the first day of class, I remember Legend walking into the classroom. I thought to myself, "Oh my god. That's the fucker." I actually saw him for the first time during the summer before grade 7, we were at the YMCA basketball camp, and he was such a ballhog. One time he was cherry picking and I was running full blast for a fastbreak lay up. I could've passed it to him as he was closer to the net, but I just kept going, went for the layup and gave him a stare while he looked away. But anyways, Legend and I became friends, and I enjoyed my school year. I joined the jr. boys basketball team, but our team chemistry sucked and nobody played well but I ended up as a starter, but I was doing very well for my community league team.

Grade 8
The hot grade 9 girls are gone (Dawn, Christine, and Mercedes), and life goes on. I really enjoyed this year, as we started to "group" a little bit more into the jocks, nerds, and preps. The preps are the most popular and the most hated. I was with the jocks, the sporty group, and the rest filtered into the nerd group. I remember my first swig of rum at a friend's house, and the parties. Joined the senior boys team, had an ok year, but our team still sucked. I exploded in community league though, won city champs and I was named MVP by the team.

Grade 9
The best junior high year. Our group got really close, we used to take the bus home every day and go for slurpees when the weather was warm. We had a blast, it was a lot of fun. We went for a lot of parties, especially at my neighbour's house across the street where she went to the same school as I did. Had a great year in senior boys basketball, winning two MVPs in two tournaments, but my Ukranian coach was racist and put some guy on the All Star team (he wasn't that good) because he was Ukranian (and my background is Polish). It's funny cuz the team questioned the coach and said I should've been on the All Star team. He was so embarassed, that hack. Had another great year in community league basketball, and won another city champs and MVP. Got honors in all three years of junior high.

Grade 10
The first year of high school. Legend moved to a different school , but a lot of my junior high friends went to the same school. My best year, since I also knew a lot of people there that weren't from high school. I was instantly popular since I knew everyone, but the irony was, the close knit group I was in started to break up and form into different groups. I was one of only two grade 10 guys that made it to the senior boys team. Our team won city champions, we had some awesome talent, and I won the Most Improved Player award as 6th man. I became good friends with this one guy who would be one of my best friends for the rest of my high school years.

Grade 11
I started to dislike the whole popularity concept, and became "independent." I just hung out with my friend and chatted with various people in various groups, but never belonging to one specific group. I think I really matured at this stage, and I got tired of the whole popularity thing and superficial crap, so I just stuck with my close friends and basketball. I had a potentially good year, except I had extreme inflammation in my knee and I couldn't jump, literally. It was so bad that it sidelined me for most of the time in basketball. We made it to the city finals, though, and I was playing and helping the team out, but we lost in the finals. One of my worst years, despite doing very well academically and being at fun parties.

Grade 12
Same school year pretty much. For basketball, I had to wear a knee brace, so instead of flying by like I used to, I depended more on my shooting, which was very successful and I won team MVP, but we lost in the conference semi-finals. I got honors in all three years, won the Superintendent's Award, had a good year, but I didn't particularily enjoy it because of all the popularity competition. It did prepare me for university though, where nobody's popular, muahahaha.
if you were killed tomorrow, i WOULDNT GO 2 UR FUNERAL CUZ ID B N JAIL 4 KILLIN THE MOTHA FUCKER THAT KILLED U!

I'll just do college:

Freshman year: Nothing much, mainly just trying to adjust to school and make friends. Barely passed

Sophomore year: Didn't even make the yearly grade requirement. Almost got kicked out of school. Appealed and got accepted on probation.

Junior year: The first semester was my probation semester so I tried to at least study. Fortunately, I made it.

Senior year: That's this year. Going to the halfway mark of the first semester. Had my first ever internship during this summer. Hopefully I graduate and find a fun job

Grade 7 after 4years learning with my old class-mates, all four classes A,B,C and D had splited in A - smart class, B - midle smart class, C -stupid class, D - midle stupid class, E - 2nd smartest class.....And i got switched to E class, there were sent a lot of my old classmates, some new faces from other school, and from other classes, i ment 2 basketball players, who had more success in basketball like I in that time, and a soccer fan, and we 4 always hanged around....and my i ment the bitchest teacher in school, she just hated me at minute 1, cuz i missed when i trew in the trashcan a paper...

Grade 8Same class, new friends....have became better in basketball, i became a starter, grew 15cm from last year, so our sport teacher started to intress about me....started to get along with the teacher, made new friends, and so i made new haters....2fights in that year....1 win, 1lose, oh well, he was a boxer, so he knew where to punch, and i knew from the begining i will lose that one...

Grade 9 No new faces....have kissed so much that bitch teachers ass, that she started to give me some great notes, Made in basketball school team with my 2friends....became a U-16 candidate....exams went well, no fights with teachers....only with german one, cuz the book had a mistake and she didn`t wanted to admin, that u can`t play a game on a PC, if u havn`t installed it...and cuz every single lesson i get on the nerves on her, she gives me bad notes, even i`m the only one who understands german in the class, and the only one who can talk in german with her, she always gave me a lower note, that to the asskissing girls with glasses, so one day i took a recorder, she did the same shit, and i went with her to the headmaster office and played it, and she got in big troubles, and she just had to gave me an A all the tame.....and at the exam times every time i looked at her she had that mad look at me, and i always was happy to see it..

Grade 10 New school....new class-mates....and it hasn`t started yet...but all i know that i will be not on 1st september

Grade 7: I remember walking in to my first class with Mr. Ochoa.. a crazy fucking nip. Anyways I noticed that Cy was in my class.. I was like "Fuck I hate that fag". Like Cy said we were in the same basketball camp and we never passed to eachother since we were the two best there. I actually remember sitting down under the net waiting for the passes. Motherfucker never passed me the ball. Anyways, Grade 7 wasn't that bad, just a big transition from elementary school to Junior High. Like Cy said the school was divided into groups, but he forgot one specific group. The crazy trench coat mafia. Faggot ass Goth wannabe's thinking that the world revolves around them and if they dont get what they want they can wear a fucking trenchcoat to school and scare people. Well I never fell for that shit.. one of the guys actually wrote a bomb threat on the washroom wall and signed his name. Wower. Faggot ass muff cheese.

Grade 8: Grade 8 was probably the best year in Junior High. It's when I started making more friends and the groups starting forming. I think thats when I actually noticed I was cooler than anyone in the school ;) I used to have a teacher named Mr.Plouffe that would ride his bike to school, it said "FUKENKARZ" on the side. He had issues but was a cool kat. My school was infested with chinks tho so I had no chance getting honors. Plus the fact that I did 3 homework assignments that whole year didnt really help either. I devoted that whole school year to making fun of this kid named Blair, which we called "Filth" because he never showered or combed his hair. Great times

Grade 9: I didn't like the last year of Junior High, started making a couple enemies.. on that I stumbled upon a couple years back and we broke his collar bone. David Graves.. it was at a KFC parking lot  faggot motherfucker. It was kinda hard to have a good time at our Junior High because there were no hot chicks.. well except a few but they were either sluts or had "Crack Whore" written all over their head. Orrr they were Chinese. No offense to the chinks on the forum. Grade 9 sucked overall.

Grade 10: New school, new beginning.. I loved it. I moved to a small city outside of Edmonton and it was fucking awesome. Just a different environment.. but the problem was everyone smoked weed. So I got into the mix, was baked all year round grade 10.

Grade 11: Tell you the truth I dont remember much about Grade 11.. and I dont know why. I do remember studying lots. Maybe because I carried on the habit of smoking weed everyday at school. Got honors in Grade 11. First time in my life.. go figure.

Grade 12: Best year ever.. by far. People didn't fuck with us. I loved it.. we had the nerds, jocks, preppies, and chochy kids.. such as I. Had our own little click.. I loved it because no one really fucked with us. Best memory of Grade 12 is when we put a "Ass Rammers II" video in the main cafeteria theatre and cranked it up as loud as we can.. blew an amp I think.. but the whole school echoed the words "FUCK ME HARDER, UP THE ASS BITCH!" I'll never forget the look on my biology teachers face. All you could hear was moaning and cursing. Also my science teacher put 6 ounces of Weed in the staffroom lockers for me to help me hide it. The dogs were sniffin lockers that day. I owe her my life. Got my dad to import swiss chocolate for her a few weeks later. Mrs. Dobko.. I loved that bitch. And ooooh man I had a student teacher named Mrs.Paris. I would've given my left leg to pound her. Hottest teacher I've ever seen, I swear she must of been a stripper at night.. all the male teachers drooled over her. Fuck now I miss highschool and got a hard on.

College: All I can say is alchohol. Frat parties and shakers.. holy fuck college is another world. I think I've consumed enough alcohol on campus to kill half of Somalia.

Now fuck off I got shit to do.

 no one ever found out who it was ;) There was an announcement on the PA the next day saying that if anyone knows anything about it they must tell the office. "If you know anything about the obscene tape played yesterday during lunch please let us know.. please." rofl

Grade 7
well last year of elementary. i have my first ever relationship with this chic. although not serious yet, twas fun. been involved to many gang wars between warring factions of mofo's in school

Grade 8
Highschool at last! and finally i broke up with the nagging chic, and hook up with this new girl. i tried out for the basketball team and started a punk band. later i joined the university soccer team and have a bi crunch of time spendin in the bench. not much of a gang war here since most of the mofo's were kick out of the school

Grade 9
holy my first break a starting 11 at the soccer team! i flirted with a new chic and for the first time i got 2 girls. all is well until i was confronted by this mofo. he seems want to hook up with one of my chics. me and the boys beat the crap out of him and most of my gang got either suspended or kick out. i was left with a lowly 6 member troop.

Grade 10
life is hell at this year. the soccer team made it to the championships but eventually lost. i lose both of the chics. now i'm loveless with no gang. i even break a scandal about 2 of our teachers. i happened to spread the news that they were both having a gay relationship. Got disciplanary probation at school for causing a ruccuss with a girl gang and talking shit in an auditorium show.

Grade 11
a year to go before college. got a new girl but i left her for this flirty bitch which got me into drinking and smoking. even pot. i got issues with the band and i break it into pieces. i have the best years of my soccer career. for the first time i am physically fit. got lot of chics flowing and well fame and shit gotten into my head. 2 of my gang members got killed by a riot from the other school. after visiting their graves i realized that this kids stuff has to end. i felt prtially responsible having this thug mentality in me and brought these guys to a bad way of life of violence

College 1
ahhh college life. the nasty bitch wanted our relationship to continue but i am fed up with all the booze drugs and sex. i wanted a new life. got 2 of my old gang members to stick with me and we hit the university by storm. i was a rebel once again and got myself 2 girls in one classroom. make that 3 plus the bitch that is away. anyways i ended my soccer career. i started playing basketball again this time with the engineering class.

College 2
fuck it. my first failing grades. i never expected engineering to be this hard. the vices has to end. i started to date more intelligent girls and surounded myself with many more dedicated school girls. it work. the second semester i was improving. many more guys joined the mix because of my basketball team is doing great. the comraderee has became great. best years of college is in the horizon, i met an angel when i get to date this intelligent and hardworking girl which change my life. i hit the words Of God once again and focus on my future

College 3
boring. the most behave year. we won the championships for our engineering department. still with the same girl

College 4
a job offer has been passed, my uncle is about to retire as a netwrok admin from this british company, so he wants me to work there. my credentials were shit..especially my english but i got the job. as a clerk.

I'll start from Junior High.

7th Grade- I thoughtt I was the SHIT! Where I live (or at least this is how it used to be) you go to elementry school grades K-6, Junior high 7-8, high school 9-12. So, I was just finished being the king of my elementry school. I had a wakeup call the first day when this 8th grader started leaning on my backpack as I was walking down the stairs. I turned around and in my squeeky voice told him to get the fuck off of me. He laughed to his friends then proceeded to punch me in the face causing me to fall down the stairs. Then he kicked me in the ribs untill a teacher came and broke it up. Quite embarressing. Good aspects were that I was the lead scorer on the b-ball team, and I started to get interested in girls seriously and they started getting interested in me. Man, making out was the shit back then... how young I was

8th Grade- I was back to being the shit again, running the school. I started smoking a lot of weed, and hooking up with girls. By hooking up I mean everything except for sex, so I thought I was pretty hot shit again. As you can tell, I was a pretty full of myself cocky asshole. I got suspended for kicking the shit out of a really little 7th grader, and my parents were pretty pissed. I also got kicked off the bus, and had to ride my bike to school everyday. Yeah, I thought I was badass, but then came high school...

9th Grade- I realized I was a 14 year old in a school with 15,16,17 and 18 year olds, so I tried to lay low. I didn't want a repeat of 7th grade. But it came anyway. I decided it would be cool to trip a senior as he walked pass to impress my friends. He wasn't too happy about that, and he beat the shit out of me. Only this time there was no teacher to stop the one sided fight.

I'll do the other grades another time, I'm tired of typing.

i know that jae said 7th+... but middle school here is 6th+, so im gonna do 6th too.

Grade 6
this was my best year in middle school by far. the school was made up of about 1200 kids, so it was hard to find many friends from elementary. i had a great personality and was quite the prankster back then so i made a lotta new friends. i cant think of any incodent that comes to mind except for getting written up for making fun of this one bitchy girl saying she was having an orgasm in class-lol... it really sounded like it. there was no honor classes so i was way ahead of most everyone in all my classes. i took band (yes gay ass band) and play the alto sax. 6th graders werent allowed to be on any team which sucked so i was in PE.

Grade 7
this year was pretty fun too. i tried out and barely made the bball team but later got moved up to the "A" team. ("B" team is the not so good team). just a side note-A team had like 20 people and B team had like 40 people. band was so fun that year... not the playing part... the messing around was great. we played so many pranks on the band directer that he cried sometimes in his office after class.(he deserved it though the way he yelled at us) i also did track and field. i was a long distance guy and practices were fucking hell-running around 7 miles each day in 100 degree weather. i did well academically and was placed in all honor classes that year. this year i met so many enemies... which probably was a reason for my decline in popularity. basketball, academics and band is where i made new foes.

Grade 8
last year of middle school. i really faded in the background this year popularity wise. i got cut from the bball team... which was a big mistake-a lotta good players on the team asked the coach why i wasnt on the team too. i focused on track... which i wasnt all good at either because i became lazy that year. band sucked ass and almost got kicked out multiple times. academically i stayed the same-smart.

Grade 9 (freshmen year)
huge jump from middle school. over 5000 people with 2 campuses and 1 Performing Arts Center. around 3-5 miles in length. this is where i noticed the cliques... middle school there werent really any group types, but in high school... there were the jocks, preps, nerds, goths, and gangsters. i guess i fell into the prep group that year. Judson High School, http://www.judsonisd.org/education/district/district.php?sectionid=1, is known for its diversity with 35% African American, 33% white, 27% hispanic, 3% asian, and 2% indian. i got used to high school life and quit band. i got into something called "ROTC" (Reserved Officer Training Corps). its a military type class. i also did track that year but wasnt very successful. i mainly stayed with around 14 friends the whole year but was never with more then 3 at a time. academic grades stayed the same from middle school. side note-judson/texas is a big high school football area... all the money the school practically made was put into the team.

Grade 10(sophmore year)
another year... and after 1 year of being at the hell hole, it wasnt hard to see a fight every other day between some type of group. i met more people that i hadnt seen since middle school and met many new friends. i became a very good "cadet" in ROTC and later got chosen to be an "officer" for my junior year. i quit track to focus on ROTC. grades still stayed the same.

Grade 11(junior year)
this year was the best in high school... so far. moved to the other campus for juniors/seniors. got outta honors and grades stayed the same. i met some new friends and started to spend a lotta time with them. this is the year i got introduced to alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes. i made the transaction from nerdy preppy student, to preppy popular student. having a car also opened a whole new world for me...

Grade 12(senior year)
tomorrow is the 4th day... and already i can tell this will be the best year. because of a new school, many students at Judson moved to it-so they are closing down 1 campus at Judson. only seniors/ some juniors r on the campus i am on and its awesome. i got back into honor classes but they r easy. teachers pretty much dont care what we do... after this year though... its on to college.
