Here's a good question, if Kobe averages 25+ shots per game this series are the Lakers going to win or lose? I think they're going to go down in flames if he has to hoist that many shots per game. Against a team like Boston you'd have to think he's going to have to be as economic a scorer as possible (not to mention more of a faux-point guard).

The way he's been playing since he got his knee drained, I think they'd be fine though there's certainly the potential for disaster. As great as he is, Kobe has demonstrated the ability to shoot the Lakers out of the game when he's determined to prove a point even when the game isn't going his way.

Odom is playing starter minutes. So Odom should be the guy like Dice/Brown/Sheed who comes on to give the others a rest but because of Bynum, the roles have changed. That's why it's crucial for Bynum to come out and put in some good minutes and reward the Lakers with the faith they are putting on him and his knee.

Yeah, I agree that Odom is that guy for the Lakers, but they still don't have that fourth guy to roll out there for ten minutes. I haven't seen much of Josh Powell since he was in college at NC St, but I don't see why he doesn't see much court time. He's a big body who can be out there long enough to make a small impact, even if it's only giving Gasol/Bynum a rest.

I guess to compare it to the Pistons back in 04, they had a big guy that could play a good amount of minutes (Okur) and another to just throw out there for a few here and there (Elden Campbell, not to mention Corliss Williamson was probably the true fourth "big" guy). Even recently, those 08 Celtics had Powe, Davis, Brown; the 07 Spurs had Duncan, Oberto, Elson, Bonner, not very good of course, but still enough big bodies to throw out there. I think the Lakers should utilize Powell a little bit, just so they have some sort of post player in that second unit.

I don't think he's a glory hunter per say, but I think he convinces himself that if his teammates aren't hitting than he HAS to take over and do it all. He hasn't been doing that recently, so maybe that's a sign of things to come, but as you said, if he's not hitting he has to see this and start to make better decisions. I would just hope that he, as a passer, gets his teammates the ball in their spots so he doesn't have to try and play Mr. Bail Out all series.

It's a good thing more people are voting for Celtics, but I'm one of the two people so far who think this is going to a Game 7! I don't think LA is going to be taken down in five or six, but I think 7 will do it.

With that said, for whatever reason I actually have started to not hate the Celtics as much this season for whatever reason. Though not enough that I still want the Lakes to win this in 7 games. However, realistically I think Boston will once again take this in 6.
