Seems about right. You know, inflation, weak dollar and stuff...

Creative argument, but it doesn't work. On Hollinger's description of PER, the lowest benchmark is 9, meaning 9 is like 0. Anything below that and you are completely detrimential to the team. With that in mind, I think its more like:

11/6 = 1.83
65/53 = 1.23

It was being ironic* but just for the sake of argument:

Steve Nash should have been paid $90 million. A two time MVP deserves more than what he got. (in hindsight)

* If you're only gonna pick out one - dare I say flamboyant - detail of my argument there's no point. Let's compare Turk to Nash for real, come on..

Too big of a dropoff for four years of inflation.

In 2004 100 euro's would buy me 120 US dollars. Today I'd get 140. That's almost 20% already without inflation.

Yep. Same name... I usually refrain from posting too often though because I'm scared I might blow a fuse reading some of the down syndrome-esque posts that are made by some of the idiots over there.

No. But I'd argue that the Ratio of retarded to decent is higher. That and the actually good posters act like snobs at times.

I'm sort of on the fence with this signing. The Raps have a more powerful starting five on the offensive end, but their defense becomes weaker in the process. Add in the fact that the Raps had to renounce the rights of pretty much their entire FA pool. Though sources say BC has a few moves a la sign-and-trade in the process of the next few days. So I'll wait before any final thoughts.
