Not a bad signing for the Jazz, if he can stay healthy.

Stop the presses everyone. Bobcats acquired future All-Star Byron Mullens from OKC for a 2013 second round pick.

In that pic of him from Ohio State, it looks like he's about 12 years old. He's like the bizarro Oden

EDIT: or maybe parallel universe Oden is the more accurate analogy.

Seems Sean Marks retired

First Brandon Roy, now Sean Marks. The league is losing its best role models

Looks like Spurs are now the favourites to win the title

I'll hit up Basketball Video Thread with some great Sean Marks' moments in his honour later tonight  :bowdown2:

Afflalo re-signs with Denver for 5 years

Even though Denver don't particularly have a star, I think with Nene, Lawson and Afflalo at the core, they have a really solid team.

He's a player development assistant with Spurs. Looks like he'll get paid to sit on the bench and joke around with Duncan & Manu. Some things never change

Good pickup. Gasol would've been a great acquisition for them but they were giving up a lot in the proposed CP3 trade, so all in all it's been a decent offseason for the Rockets in the wake of Yao's career officially coming to an end.

Decent pickup that should solidify their hold on ninth place in the West.

Pleased with the acquisition. Good to see the Rockets won't have to start someone that's undersized at the five anymore.

Mehmet Okur is heading to Jersey now to compensate for the Lopez injury. It's a decent enough move for both teams. Utah have Jefferson and Kanter, so there wasn't going to be much for Okur to do anyway.

Utah should have gotten more. He's still a decent big man. They could have at least gotten a shooting guard or something.

They got cap space and a big trade exception for a guy who averaged 4.9 PPG in 13 games last year
