I like where blazers are..they are still young talented along with older productive veterans.

Not a bad signing for the Jazz, if he can stay healthy.

Well,it looks like Richard Jefferson is going to stay with the Spurs.

Larry Hughes and Von Wafer on the Magic camp roster.

Stop the presses everyone. Bobcats acquired future All-Star Byron Mullens from OKC for a 2013 second round pick.

There goes our championship hopes. Time to trade Durant and Westbrook and start rebuilding.

*GASP* He's now in the same division as Joel Anthony.

In that pic of him from Ohio State, it looks like he's about 12 years old. He's like the bizarro Oden

EDIT: or maybe parallel universe Oden is the more accurate analogy.

The Dwight Howard trade rumours are gaining heat on twitter atm...

Seems Sean Marks retired
First Brandon Roy, now Sean Marks. The league is losing its best role models
http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/basketball/6158655/Spurs-coaching-job-awaits-retiring-Sean-MarksLooks like Spurs are now the favourites to win the title

I'll hit up Basketball Video Thread with some great Sean Marks' moments in his honour later tonight

Afflalo re-signs with Denver for 5 years
linkEven though Denver don't particularly have a star, I think with Nene, Lawson and Afflalo at the core, they have a really solid team.

He's a player development assistant with Spurs. Looks like he'll get paid to sit on the bench and joke around with Duncan & Manu. Some things never change

Sam Dalembert has
agreed to terms with the Rockets.
Thu Dec 22, 2011 10:14 pm
Good pickup. Gasol would've been a great acquisition for them but they were giving up a lot in the proposed CP3 trade, so all in all it's been a decent offseason for the Rockets in the wake of Yao's career officially coming to an end.
Fri Dec 23, 2011 1:04 am
Decent pickup that should solidify their hold on ninth place in the West.
Fri Dec 23, 2011 3:36 am
Pleased with the acquisition. Good to see the Rockets won't have to start someone that's undersized at the five anymore.

Hard but fair

One step at a time, though.

Mehmet Okur is
heading to Jersey now to compensate for the Lopez injury. It's a decent enough move for both teams. Utah have Jefferson and Kanter, so there wasn't going to be much for Okur to do anyway.
Fri Dec 23, 2011 10:08 pm
alright.. no more Dwight to NJ
Sat Dec 24, 2011 2:42 am
Utah should have gotten more. He's still a decent big man. They could have at least gotten a shooting guard or something.
Sat Dec 24, 2011 4:22 am
They got cap space and a big trade exception for a guy who averaged 4.9 PPG in 13 games last year
