No matter what, Kobe will go down in history as an all-time great, and rightfully so. His great career speaks for itself, and these footnote seasons may indeed be remembered kindly as a courageous comeback. However, there's the counterpoint that he's frantically gunning away, basically just going out there and scoring as many points as he can, while he still can. His unwillingness to gracefully yield the reigns of the team to anyone else and his general abrasiveness has made one of the league's most storied and successful franchises an unappealing destination for free agents. He's inefficiently shooting his way to personal milestones, while the Lakers bottom out and enter a period of struggle and irrelevance that is unprecedented in club history.

Sure, the narrative may go that he went down fighting. Or, the story might be that his stubbornness and selfishness took them down and set back the rebuilding/re-tooling phase significantly. On top of that, there'll always be the contrast with Tim Duncan, a contemporary who won just as many titles, has one more Finals MVP, has likewise established himself as one of the all-time greats, but was able to transition and pass the torch, allowing his team to win a lot of games and remain relevant throughout his lengthy career.

Maybe he shouldn't be taking so many shots at this stage in his career? It's ridiculous he's leading Field Goal Attempts category by large margin from greatly known chucker Melo. I wouldn't be complaining if he was hitting shots anywhere near at league average but it's painfully clear he's the biggest cause for the Lakers' shitty season. Mavs winning 4 straight games in blowouts. I can't tell if their defense is good or it's the offense.

Yeah. He's been pretty surprisingly good lately. He was benched often in the beginning of the season as SVG punished him whenever he took bad shots but it seems he came around. But sadly you can't say same about Andre and Josh Smith. Josh Smith is same ole Josh Smith. Andre Drummond despite benji's support hasn't thrived much under SVG. Part of the reason is said to be, it's because SVG is running plays out of his comfort zone. Like, Andre Drummond now is playing post up/ISO. This is for the long term project so he can become more than a dunk guy.

As for the Cavs, LOL. Cavalolers. Chemistry gotta be non existent. How do you lose to the lowly Nuggets? Actually they should have lost the previous game against Celtics as well if it wasn't for a miraculous comeback from HUGE deficit.

Tonight's game to watch was the HOU vs MEM both with 9-1 record. Looks like Grizzlies grizzed the Rockets pretty good. Crazy.

People like to hate on Brandon Jennings but he is as good as say, Jrue Holiday. However, Jrue getting the all star nod over him in 2013's weak field of Eastern guards skewed public perception. Both are average starters at best, albeit at the deepest position, and this isn't Jennings' first red hot November. Pistons are a mess though. Not worried about Drummond yet but they gotta break up that forward tandem.

In other news, Portland is really good this year. Offense is still awesome and my god, now we have a bench and play defense?!
