I wonder if he'll participate in any summer league games. The Blazers might not want to take the risk but if he's cleared to play it might be a good test to see how much progress he's made since the surgery and get some experience against NBA players before the preseason and his official NBA debut.

If anything, Oden sounds like he has downs. Still, he seems like a sweet and down to earth guy. You can't help but root for a guy with his kind of attitude to make it in the league.
There was a smile on my face when I saw the trainer talking with Oden beside him. Made him look like an oompa loompa.

... When you create a player with a ‘THICK’ build and place him on either the Bobcats or Thunder, the game will crash when entering the game.
That being said, we only have 5 existing players in the league who are ‘THICK’ builds:
Glen Davis
Shaquille O’Neal
Eddy Curry
Jerome James
Michael Sweetney
Workaround: Don’t put a ‘THICK’ build created player OR one of the above players on the Bobcats or Thunder and the game won’t crash.
... When you create a player with a ‘THICK’ build and place him on either the Bobcats or Thunder, the game will crash when entering the game.
