I wonder if he'll participate in any summer league games. The Blazers might not want to take the risk but if he's cleared to play it might be a good test to see how much progress he's made since the surgery and get some experience against NBA players before the preseason and his official NBA debut.

Great to see him recovering from his injury and I can't wait to see how Oden-Aldridge-Roy work out, but I'll still hate them.

If anything, Oden sounds like he has downs. Still, he seems like a sweet and down to earth guy. You can't help but root for a guy with his kind of attitude to make it in the league.

There was a smile on my face when I saw the trainer talking with Oden beside him. Made him look like an oompa loompa.

can he still win the rookie of the year award?
if not, can he win the most improved player plum?

He can still win the RoTY award as he didn't play any games last season. Also, how can you improve from nothing?
