Help updating Draft classes in an association

Postby Reaperwolverine on Mon Jun 30, 2014 6:07 pm

I started an association long time ago with some crappy draft classes. Now I want to update them with a better one that I have without starting a new association.

Does anybody know how to do this without manually doing it because that would be a lot of trouble.

Thanx in advance

kinda like that

Make new association, load draft class, save association

load association with rookies in it in RED MC, export players and headshapes tabs (or copy/paste)

paste/import those tabs, or just the rookies, into whatever roster you want

create a second association, load the real draft class, save

open both association files, copy the imported real players over the generated ones in the other one

Opinions are my own.

Jao I have a question for you, oh Jedi Master...

I am in the same situation as the OP, I have an Association and I want to overwrite the draft classes. Let's call it "Assoc1". I started a new Association with the draft class I want to use, let's call that "TestDraftClass".

I followed your instructions on the video and copied the prospects from TestDraftClass to Assoc1 in Red MC, but it keeps crashing at the draft. Then I saw that you said that the head shapes tab must be copied over as well. My question is this:

In Assoc1, the head shapes tab only shows 1 row in RED MC. In TestDraftClass, the same tab has 2,160 rows in it.

Why is that? Do I just copy all 2,160 rows over to Assoc1? Or do I ADD those 2,160 rows to the row that's already in Assoc1, bringing the total head shapes to 2,161? I appreciate any help you can provide.

you used a UBR roster to start assoc1 didnt you. UBR does not support association mode

I did, but I could have sworn I used "UBR Assoc Mode" roster. Now that I load up another association mode with the "UBR Association Mode" roster, that .fxg has all the headshapes.

grrrrrr!

thanks Jao this has been making me crazy. You are like a god amongst men!
