I noticed that the the stadium quality and the crowd take the most of the power in the game and hamper the game to run fluidly. What I wanted to do is to play the game on with low-res stadiums but with high-res courts-the problem was that by turning the stadium quality down the floor quality also was turned down...so to prevent that I made a conversion of the floors from high- to low-res and now I can play with low quality stadiums which is really not that bad, you just have to sacrifice a few details but the stadium is really similar to the high-res stadiums but for that tha game runs much faster than with the high-res stadiums!
In my chase-I have an avarenge laptop I have an i3 processor running with 2.10 Ghz, a GeForce GT 520M graphic card-so as you can see nothing special or tuned up but I'm using the ENBS patches, seanjohns shadowmod, and the FXAA patches and have my settings maxed out and I run the game fluidly!
Further another thing that really gives my game boost is that I'm using the Bobcats stadium as a stadium for every team!The reason is that the low-res stadium of the Bobcats is really dark, the crowd is nearly black!What I did is that I modified the stadiums for every team that it doesn't seem like that the Lakers play at home in the Bobcats stadium!Every Bobcat banner is turned in my stadiums files black and every team has it reals backboard!
I also resolved the problem with the dornas!Every team has different resoluted dornas but I also prevented that problem!
And everything combined with this patch here: http://www.moddingway.com/file/17904.html (this patch increases the power of the game AND is maxing the quality of the game out!) is making (atleast for myself) the game running on very high quality fluidly and without lacking power!
If someone is interested I will upload pictures (but somebody has to explane me how to do that!) and I could also update if someone wants to try that out the modified .iffs and my config file!
haaaaanis wrote:first start with downloading the floor http://www.sendspace.com/file/1dh9mq ,stadium and dorna http://www.sendspace.com/file/dmkfpn files and paste them in your main NBA 2K12 file where the whole .iffs are
then go to your video settings in NBA 2K12 and turn your arena settings to low...now you will have low res-stadiums but high res floors!
those are the major steps for this patch!
additionaly you can follow this instructions which also gave me a boost: http://www.moddingway.com/file/17904.html or if you have a quad-core or atleast an i3-processor and a gddr5 graphic card (you can search that in your pc requirements) just paste that config http://www.sendspace.com/file/akv3yf in your save folder!
I repeat this will change your game alot so keep making backups of your .iff files!Further I don't guarantee that it will increase your framerates!Alot depends on your pc/laptop!
I hope that those who will try that patch will give me replies if it helped!

If you also play with low-res floors you can download the converted courts I already made and use them!This won't affect your FPS!That's the point of the patch: to turn down everything which kills the power/FPS and keep other things such as that floors which DO NOT/BARELY affect the game speed high!
So i'm nearly 100% sure that if you use the courts and now playing with low-res-stadiums but high-res courts that you will have nearly the same speed as before with the low-res floors!Just try it out and tell me your results!![]()
(The stadiums and dornas part isn't really necessary but it also saved a little bit power)
@free24ride1
First of all it shows that the patch work by seeing your increasment!That's already 6 FPS!![]()
Yeah I know!Well, first of all I didn't like the crystal clear photomod at all (but everybody has his preferences)!
I took a look and I adjusted it a bit, so try that out if you want http://www.sendspace.com/file/ejd0zg
