And is there anyway they can not give Evans a title shot now?

They're gonna unify the belts since Big Nog is really just an interim champ. So it's gonna end up like a mini tournament with Randy, Brock, Nog and Mir.

I know the situation with Coture, but still they should of never had an interim champion in the first place. If they absolutely had to make the Noguira vs Silva fight for the title, they should of stripped Randy and made it for the vacated championship.

After the Brock fight, there still won't be an undisputed champion and that sucks.

they had it cause the dana didn't want couture to leave yet
plus he broke his arm in the gonzaga fight
when there's an injury or legal cause where current champ is unable to compete
an interim champ is crowned until the fighter comes back
basically there is gonna be two champs..but its gonna be champ vs champ for the next fight
they're just finding ways to make more money basically
but can't wait for penn gsp fight..gsp won by split last time
but they're 5 rounds in this fight i believe

I still think interim titles are a joke. Either strip the champion for not defending or make someone a number one contender. Don't have it so when the title is defended they aren't the definitive champion because an interim champion is around.

Usually, when the real champ gets back from injuryry, they have a unification match. If the injury takes too long, like Mir's reign, they strip the belt and crown the interim champ as the undisputed one.

But this time they're not. Thats why it's a joke, they're going to have two title defenses and after both of them we still won't have a champion crowned.

Yeah. I agree as well. One thing that irks me is that Brock can be listed as legit champ if he beats Couture and gets bet by Nog. meanwhile, Nog gets beat by anyone of them, he will just be listed as interim champ. At least if they do this, have it be a 4-man tourney's ultimate winner as the listed champ and not have winner of Randy-Brock as heavyweight champs too. If they keep doing this shit, the UFC belts will end up like WWE belts.

If UFC becomes to be ala-WWE,a tag-team UFC match wouldn't be a bad idea.

Brock really doesn't deserve to be in a championship fight either. He's won one ufc fight. I like him, I think he'll be the biggest draw in UFC history. But this is way too early to give him a title shot.

Just read on Wrestling News World that Brock Lesnar is the new UFC champion, winning in the second round by TKO.

Yup. I think he still didn't deserve a title shot considering he only had 3 fights on his belt but he did beat the champ fair and square. I'm guessing it will be good for business for the UFC as well.

After giving Lesnar a title shot only after 3 fights and him defeating a (formerly disgruntled) Randy Couture, thereby lessening Couture's value so it doesn't matter if he gets angry with UFC again, Dana White now definitely has a highschool crush on Lesnar.

i watched the fight at my friend's house. all of the fights seemed to end rather quickly and it seemed that Couture tried his stand up game vs Brock and that's not where he has an advantage. should've gotten him on the ground. Eventually Couture caught a hook right behind the ear, stunned as he fell and Lesnar hopped on him and gave him a 10 second pounding he could barely defend. TKO.

I think he had a better chance standing up actually since Brock's striking hasn't been proven and it still hasn't. Sure he has power but his over technique is meh. On the ground, Brock would probably overpower him still and smother him when Randy's pinned to the ground.

As for the event, I enjoyed a lot of the finishes. The submission finishes were great.

And the WWE for giving him enough name recognition for a title fight so early in his career. Still, he stepped up to the plate and got the job done. Since he's got a background in amateur wrestling, perhaps there's a few old coaches he'd like to thank too.

Doesn't she have children with Marc Mero? If so, it's probably something she did for them.
