i remember there is a guy posting on the nba live pc threads that has an avatar with the limited edition of live 06 with Yuta Tabuse on it, and he also said he cant find a copy of live 06 in japan, so i would presume he lives in japan and/or is japanese

Japanese, that's surprising. Maybe they're polishing up on their English before posting, unlike some posting members who butcher the English language.

So, aside from the obvious groups such as NBA Live Fans, NBA 2K Fans and just plain NBA fans (with individual team groups being made according to significant demand), what other groups would you like to have?

The Christopher Nolan group, The Batman Group and The Christian Bale Group.

Asking too much, wasn't it? Should've stopped at the Nolan one.

Uhm Jackal gave me this idea just now... Why not like superhero groups. Or cartoon groups. We have futurama, Simpsons, Family Guy, Scooby Doo, South park, etc...

just remember that we would need leaders that would allow / disallow people to join. I mean somewhere it is going to be shown that we are a part of a group so we don't want people like McDwyane joining every group possible.

Maybe have a limit of 2 or 3 groups, one NBA team then 1 or 2 others.

Reviewing the functions of usergroups, I have to admit this won't work as well on phpBB as it does on other boards, notably those that use vBulletin. It's more effective in setting permissions for a certain group, so unless we were going to have private sections for different fan groups (which seems unnecessary), it might not be worth having them.
