The game was close before halftime. Shucks, China can't find a move inside.

nice game by China, they're up to the test but of course, USA's just too much for them.

Wade should stop showboating that much.

Yao looks completely worked over. First Dwight Howard, now Pau Gasol, then Dirk Nowitzki.

Kirilenko played his ass off against Lithuania and they STILL lost.

Rudy Fernandez is pretty damn good.

Great game against Spain. That was not even close. Looks like this one is a real dream team. Who knows though, we'll be sure when they win the gold.

Disappointing game against Spain. I expected it to be a little more exciting, but Spain did worse than Angola.

I'm hoping that Australia can put up a decent fight tomorrow but with the way the US has been dispensing of everyone so far I don't like the Boomers' chances of doing anything except putting in a respectable performance. Even so, I don't expect the margin to be single digits.

Did you all see the drubbing the USA gave Australia? Andrew Bogut looked horrible in the Post Game interview.

Good first quarter for the aussie boomers..they put up a pretty decent fight but of course the USA team is better all throughout.

Indeed, another dominant victory for Team USA. The Boomers did alright for about a quarter and a half but the latter half of the second quarter and then the entire second half were all Team USA.

Interesting take on the Boomers' demeanour here. Call me biased, but I wouldn't agree with that. Even if they're not being boastful in press conferences, supposedly Team USA has been pretty vocal on the court and there were some examples of that last night which that article has overlooked. Carmelo Anthony's assertion that they don't talk is laughable, but about what one can expect from him I guess.

Nevertheless, the best team in the competition won and did so in style. I don't see them faltering the rest of the tournament.

And how do we know he wasn't responding to something Wade had said earlier? Supposedly Team USA has been talking trash throughout the tournament, of course they're also backing it up by dominating the competition.

But i think the timing is not right..he did it after he nailed a 3-pointer plus the foul..he should just zipped his mouth and exchange high fives with his fellowmen..but anyway, wade might have said something below the belt..

Did Team USA keep their mouths shut after making big plays? Does anyone, for that matter? I'm not denying that the Aussies were "yapping" (as Yahoo! NBA put it) but I don't think they were alone in doing that, last night or throughout the tournament.

But they never do that in front of a certain player except perhaps Lebron when he blocked a certain Angolan from behind. Last night was the first time that I saw a player who really wants to confront his opponent..
