Nice win! LeBron's been consistent all season so far..
Keep doing what you're doing and the Cavs will be a playoff contender!
..and maybe a Finals contender?

I like this dinasty a lot! Your teams is playing great ... if you keep playing that defense and lebron keep rocking like this, you will get your team in a really good position for the playoffs! (Y)

Wow. Great game and a comeback by Gibson (Y)

Having a defensive player like Big Ben is a definite plus for my team.. T-wolves are a much weaker team but I won’t take them lightly..

Maree wrote:Finaly defense, exactly what Cavs needed. It looks like your team is very strong when it comes to crunch time...this is good news for the playoffs

Yup! Defense is definitely what every team needs. Scoring is easy when you have a player like LeBron who can light it up, but defense will really win you the close games.

LJ has been putting up very good numbers hopefully he can bag the East Player of the month.. Hmm.. About the finals? I really hope we can reach it, since tht is basically what every dynasty aims for...

Thanks! I am currently in first place in the Central division with the Pistons close behind.. Consistency will be the key for us to become a true contender...

Woah, you almost lost to an awful team like the Wolves, good thing you didn't let it happen! Nice to see this dynasty back too!

Fri May 16, 2008 8:32 pm

great fourth quarter explosion...

Ilgauskas really struggled with 4-12 from the field, but hey you have LeBron :) Although your assist to field goal ratio is a bit low..little above 50% would be just fine. Anyways, love the recap, keep it up! thumbs up!

btw...did James mark any triple-doubles this year? if not, i'm waiting for "them" :D

Its really great having James in my team coz he can take over the game at any given time. Been a month without updates and I really missed doing this!

Thanks dude! It has only been double-doubles for LJ, getting some rebounds for him is quite hard.

Danny Ferry Relinquishes Duty As General Manager
November 26, 2007

CLEVELAND, OH -- Earlier today Danny Ferry held a press conference to announce his departure as the teams General Manager. Ferry was emotional upon leaving the team that he helped reach the NBA Finals a year ago.

“As much as I want to continue and work with the team, I have decided to leave because of serious health reasons,” Ferry said. “I think that it will be better for me to concentrate on fighting this illness and be able to spend time with my family. I am really sorry for leaving the team at this crucial time of the season.”

Assistant GM Zoilo Resurreccion will be tapped to replace his mentor and will try to build on the foundation left by Ferry.

“It saddens me to see him leave but I salute Danny’s courage and strength as he goes through this obstacle in his life,” owner Dan Gilbert said. “I wish him well and he will always be welcome to the Cavaliers family.”

A huge responsibility now weighs on the shoulders of new GM Zoilo Resurreccion as he tries to manage a revamped Cleveland team and lead them to greatness, which is an NBA Championship.

Cavs All-Access: When the Going Gets Tough...

When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going!

Image

Hours after the shocking departure of Danny Ferry, the new GM Zoilo Resurreccion was in his new office trying to gather his thoughts together...

At a crucial time where they will face Boston, Detroit and Toronto to end the month, when the team is struggling to find some consistency, and players trying to stay healthy, the tough really gets going.

“Can I really do this?,” he said on his mind. “I know I am new at this but Danny and Mr. Gilbert really has high hopes for me, so I cant afford to screw this up.”

He then proceeded to check his email to see if something has come up.

Image

“Man, another injury to Boobie and were just in the first month of the season, the medical staff has their hands full with him.”

He then picked up the fone...

“Hello Aya, please patch me up to Mike’s office...”

“Right away sir..” the secretary said.

The phone rang twice before Mike Brown picked it up.

“Hello coach, Zoilo here, have you received word from the medical staff today?”

“Yeah, Boobie’s out again. I mean Daniel.” a chuckling Mike Brown replied.

“Hehe... I thought that was something else.. Anyways, seriously speaking, I think we should activate Eric for our next games since Daniel will be out for a week or so..”

“Yup, that is exactly what we’ll do. Anything else you would like to talk to me about?”, Brown asked.

“Uhmm.. Actually there is one thing, whats up with our shooting guards, especially Wally? Seems like he is really struggling,” Zoilo asked while looking at the stat sheets.

Image

“... his numbers are way down compared from last season.”

“I’ve also been wondering about that,” Mike answered. “Probably because he isn’t an “off the bench” kinda guy, so he struggles to get his rhythm. Ive been planning on getting him on the starting lineup to get him going but Sasha has been consistent so far so lets just see...”

“I see.. And by the way I am not planning to shake things up anytime soon but the if the team continues to struggle, I think some changes will be done.”

“Anyway, Thanks for the time and lets work hard to give the city something to cheer about,” Resurreccion said.

“Ok, thanks!” Brown replied as he put the phone down.

Day One as the new GM is over, and Zoilo Resurreccion knows that his mission to bring glory to Cleveland has just started and tough times will surely come their way...
