What is Courage?

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Courage is facing your fears.

Courage is being written off by the world and coming back with a bang. "Proving them wrong" being your only incentive.

Courage is walking around with the confidence of a guy who is the owner of a cock the size of a horse while in reality being built like a toothpick.

Courage is admitting you're wrong.

Courage is sacrificing your happiness for the happiness of the ones around you.

Courage is going through life with a smile on your face as often as possible.

Courage is seeing every day as an opportunity to do better than the previous day.

Courage is accepting who you are. Being comfortable with yourself in a group of people without second guessing yourself. Being able to live life on your terms regardless of what the world may think of you. So you're a goth that gets the shit kicked out of you and hardly ever gets laid, rock on mohfucker, if that's what you wanna do, do it.

(Which reminds me, people that are goth...when they have kids, do they actually tell their kids how they used to be?)

Courage is everything I'm not. :D

Courage is eating something with your eyes closed in Japan/China. Yep, that's courage.

Courage is befriending Coolmac.

Courage is being around Coolmac while he's arrested with childporn and doing the happy dance.

Courage is telling MC Hao to fuck himself and telling him to stop making others do his fucking homework. Hass hole.

Why don't you and JT_55 sit in that corner over there.

Over where?

Courage is eating something with your eyes closed in Japan/China. Yep, that's courage.

Throw in some pig brain in there, some raw fish, raw oysters, cow liver, cow stomach, cow lungs...

Courage is facing and embracing the unknown.

Courage is doing the right thing, no matter what others may think. A lot of people might suggest the opposite but it's often easier to do the less honourable thing than what you know you should.

Courage is resisting peer pressure and making your own decisions. They may not always be the right decisions, but they will be your decisions.

Courage is rising to any challenge that presents itself.

And of course, courage is coming home blind drunk, reeking of booze and cheap perfume with lipstick smeared on your collar, sliding into bed and slapping your girlfriend/wife on the arse and saying "You're next!"

See, I'd say that's intelligence, not lack of courage. The fine line between having balls and having the smarts to avoid having them ripped off.

lol you speak the truth andrew. i have already learned my limits with what i can and cant say though there is one i always break(and get hurt for). see as i am sure many of you have guessed i am from boston and love all thier teams, well my wife is from new york and is a true yankee fan. several times i have said the wrong thing concerning the yankees and paid the price for it. on the plus side though i have her converted to the pats(maybe she should have stuck with ny this year?) and the celts are her number 2 team behind phoenix

"Courage is knowing you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do.”

As per atticus finch from to kill a mockingbird.
