Was this really necessary to post? It didn't add anything to the topic, and it also bumped this topic that hadn't been posted in for a while.

I'm sure we're all getting excited and hoping that it isn't another piece of crap, but there is no need to randomly announce it.

Yes, I completely agree.
Most of the people here has a solid and big knowledge of the NationalBasketballAssociation and the players, sincerely we don't need the hot spots so much.

In the PS2 version it is a retextured version of what we got this year.

For the 360/PS3 it is an empty NBA arena, you can choose which one.
Opinions are my own.

it happens automatically for me, just select a player that has a goto move. If no video pops up, they dont have a GTM.

Shaq and Wade's videos come up for me as well. As far as I can tell there's no way to trigger them except when you first select a new player to control who has a Go To Move.

Yes, three point attempts are feasible with the default sliders (in my opinion, anyway).

I can't say I had a problem with 70 footers frequently being made in NBA Live 07, I don't recall even seeing one go in but the nature of the game, not unlike the real sport, is that the possibility exists although the chances are slim to say the least. Tony Parker nailed a halfcourt three against me in the demo but since then I've yet to see a three from beyond midcourt go in.

I think it is a no-brainer. It will be a good stable version of 07 pretty much. We will hopefully be able to edit and add goto moves as well. The issues in 08 seem to all be fixable with simple changes so after a week or 2 of just fixing issues we should have one of the most stable versions for the PC ever so everyone can focus on adding content instead of fixing the game.
Opinions are my own.

The only real letdown with the PC version as I see it will be with Dynasty Mode since it's basically the same as last year. I guess that's not a problem if you like the PDA but I was hoping we'd see some of the features that were implemented on the Xbox 360/PS3 version, namely the free agent negotiation mini-game and trade talks with counteroffers.

I got a little question ,the block's system will be the same as last year or not? because I think it was too much aproximate ! it's only depend on luck and not on skills

Fasz, if your talking about the ps2/pc version, it is the same, and it does depend on skill. Usually, if I was in front of a defender and I tried to block a layup, it doesn't work. If I am to the side or slightly behind them, then I can get the block depending on how good my player's block rating is. Right after they leave the ground I push towards them and press the block button, it usually works.

From what I've heard the pg is "too wussy" and I can assume that when he passes to the SG that they would take over the "domination" factor. I haven't played it, but come later on this month after I get it, I will see for myself what needs to be done with the AI.

a question

Postby Toaster on Wed Oct 10, 2007 5:27 am

What I would really like to know is (all questions regarding current gen) :

*how's the post game? any improvments from 07, any signs of the so
called "Own the paint" feature?

*Any difference in the way different teams play? in their tempo?

*Any tool to understand the plays this year (diagrams? on court display?)

Thanks in advance for any answers
