u can "pre=load" the game on ur pc. just cant play it until the 30th. but i had set my cpu to the 30th and it just let me "pre-load" it. meaning all the files are there but it cant be decrypted until the 30th

this makes no sense to me. first, ea F___KS us up with a lemon in 07 that took the help of looser, lagou, and andrew to give this game a 1000% makeover fixing it like lve 08. ea ought to be ashamed of themselves and emarrassed. this company is going down hard with its basketball series. i spent my $45 too quick.

i tried turning my internet off and setting the date to 30. still no luck. downloader said please check your internet connection, your computer appears to be offline. so i reenabled it and still get the decryption error. why we goota pay to wait 30 days? thats like paying for a final four ticket now and waiting for the final four in march. (N)

I agree, makes no sense, BUT IS TRUE, EA here in Brazil has NBA Live 08 for PC set for October 19 also: (the information is on the "próximos lançamentos" - at right side above the 2142 banner)

although ea sport told that the wii and pc version of the game will be on stores at 19 on october

i just wanna let u know that the wii version is on the net now

then mybe we will have some luck with the pc version and it will out earlier

I saw news in esports official site and its says that nba on pc in europe will be on 19 of october and 30 in usa

but i am full of optimizm and maybe nba will hit europe little earlier

Player__32 : since you live in France could you check if the game is in the stores? Don't trust that article, on NBA LIVE 08 US site they say the game is available but is not. I suggest you to go to some mall and check...i'm really curious to discover if they got it....

by the way they finally corrected EA STORE. Now the game release is dated october 31...it really looks like is coming out in europe first...

Live 08 PC version is said to be released october 25th, according to many webstores in France.
Maybe the 19th on digital download but nothing is said on ea store france, and I personnaly don't believe it.
I would even expect it to be released on november 1rst, since a few sites are giving that date.

I can't wait for the pc version to come out. I just wish that EA would correct their mistakes on the pc version. Mistakes such as lock edit etc.
