Most newer TVs support NTSC as do a lot of VCRs and there are region free DVD players available (I bought one because they don't release many NBA DVDs here so I mostly have to buy from Amazon) but I believe there's still issues with the voltage.

I've just noticed that aussie gamesware house has the pc version marked down for oct 4th now instead of the 30th i hope that's right would be good.

It's definitely incorrect as it won't be out in the States until the 30th.

we did get 06 before the States so im optimistic.....Fitzy's gonna have to check that out again.

I got used to get the game on late sept or early october, so It's bad for me to get the game on late october...is it official or there's still some hope to play it earlier???

The PC version is still coming out October 30th in the US and Canada as far as we're aware.

That seems unlikely given the North American release is still slated as being October 30th as far as I can see.

Saw a big advertisement in some catalogue today, doubt they'd have that a month before the game drops.

So I wouldn't be suprised if it is dropping early October

yep...i smell an earlier than advertised release. Which is bad because of all the assignments that i will have around the time......

I'm thinking we'll get it anywhere from 2nd-12th.

Perhaps the console versions will hit Australia earlier than usual but I'm skeptical about the PC version being released earlier than the 30th.

I was in at EB Games today and they told me Nov 4th for PS2 and PSP

UK release for 360 is Oct 5th...pc version seems to have come back from Nov 2nd to 26th Oct (but it's been floating around here for ages and as Andrew says it's not out until Oct 30th in US)...so I'd expect the UK release being put back a week or two or well into November.

Hopefully the 360 release date holds for next Friday!

On EA sports page is release date oct 2. And if you pay you can download NBA 08 for PC in EA store.
