point guard played like no teammate

hey there..does anybody here knows how to fix this problem?...when i played the point guard always take the shot...

You should probably look into jimmy's gameplay fix and the official patch as well. Pdud has a similar update to Jimmy's but I haven't tried it. Look around in the older forums, most of us had that problem.

You actually don't need any fixes to stop the pg from driving coast to coast all the time, all though the fixes do help some.

You just need to pick up the pg at half court and trigger the defensive drive animation. Once that happens, curl your left analog from the direction the ball handler is going (basically towards the basket) towards his dribbling hand (basically the sideline). Stay on him close because he will either bump you, spin or crossover and then the animation will be triggered again and you will need to do it again until he either passes or moves to the middle of the court to run a play. I usually only have to do it once or twice, but sometimes they get a little relentless.

Also there are a couple of plays that rely a bit too heavily on the point guard as scorer.

The first is Shooter A, this realy sucks as it's the default main play for all teams. Some patches change the default to something else, and aiact patches remove the PG from being the focus of this play. I, personly, just change the plays manualy.

Other plays to remove from your opponent's playbook, or at least be wary of, are Rocket Fuel, Boston, Double High Post, and Bulls Eye. Though each of these plays can be used correctly, you realy have to force the CPU by using the defence that Pdub suggested.
